I just hope that it doesn’t lose momentum - ultimately it’s going to at least go Top 15 on iTunes on Friday before fading away, it sounds like a summer hit to me rather than a post Christmas one but of course I hope I’m wrong and that they really pull it out of the bag and have huge success with it.

The potential for good remixes is strong.
A full release, sooner rather than later with some promotion could turn this in to a moderate size hit. |

Sigala struck me as the kind of act that might release 12’ vinyl physicals of his releases but a quick check seems that’s not the case but there seems to be a lot of different digital mixes of his singles which is a positive as Kylie fans will download them all and it also helps with streaming playlists.

Sigala has talked a bit about the track:

I sincerely doubt it'll be album only, that's not really a thing. Sigala/Ministry of Sound wouldn't want to miss out on any streams that the Kylie track would contribute to the album's streaming units, and there's no logical reason to restrict it from being available to download in this day and age. If it eventually receives single status, it really won't matter how many downloads it sold up to that point. If it's to become a hit then it'll be largely down to streaming prominence anyway.

Remember only 3 Sigala songs will be eligible to chart so with already a few of them getting big streaming she may well miss out.........

That's true about only three being eligible to chart, although I think all of his singles prior to Just Got Paid will be on ACR? So being a new release should work in favour of What You Waiting For? over his older hits, assuming that it actually does well enough on downloads/streaming to go Top 100.
