 Welcome back once again to your favourite place on the BuzzJack Globe. It's my pleasure to bring you another much anticipated spin off from the heart of Taahino!  It's been over three years since the last edition but I'd like to officially invite you all to participate in a battle of Your Best Of... For those of you who don't know, this is a chance for you to reflect on your own back catalogue of entries and have your say on which is your best and which one you think deserves another chance to hold its own against the other competing countries personal favourites. It's different from TBO as we're giving you the chance to really throw it back, find some forgotten gems and not just send the ones that did well recently... actually there's rules in place to ensure you don't do that!! Now the rules are pretty much identical to last time in regards to the limitations we're putting on entries. Please take the time to make sure you identify which category you fall into and that your entry meets those guidelines. The veto rules will be almost non-existent, however, the song list will have final approval from myself and my co-mods as per and anything that isn't in the spirit of the contest will be binned without hesitation, so be inspired PLEASE! x 0-5 contests since your debut - No restrictions x 6-8 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 3 contests. x 9-11 contests since your debut- You may not enter anything from the Last 4 contests. x 12-14 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 6 contests. x 15-17 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 7 contests. x 18-20 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 9 contests. x 21-23 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 10 contests. x 24-26 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 12 contests. x 27-29 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 13 contests. x 30-32 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 15 contests. x 33-35 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 16 contests. x 36-38 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 18 contests. x 39-41 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 20 contests. x 41-43 contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 22 contests. x If it has been 44 or more contests since your debut - You may not enter anything from the Last 24 contests. your song must also not have one any previous contests, that includes other spin-offs etc. Coolio, so now that part is out of the way, lets get onto the exciting part... CONFIRMATIONS! Like last time, we're gonna do open confirmations again so you can really get involved with the entries and give your input on what others should send and vise versa. You don't need to be secretive at all about what you're planning on sending this time, so be as leaky as you like  Since this contest is all about going back in time etc, i'm really gonna give y'all a blast from the past and do PM CONFIRMATIONS  #downwithgoogle In your message to me you must include your: country name: chosen artist: chosen song: audio link: Now if you've been in the general spin-off chat thread recently you will know that my schedule for October is very tight at the moment so I'm gonna put a disclaimer out there now that there will not be any extensions to any deadlines, I've worked everything out to fit into my own free time so please respect that and don't try and push your luck with the confirmation or voting cut off dates (ik most of you wont but just saying x) you have until 23:59 on Thursday 11th of October 2018 to confirm your song, you can of course change your entry as many times as you'd like up until this cut off time via PM. Going to have a long think about what approach to take this time. Like if I go with a DNQ or an under performer or with a particularly under-appreciated track that was ineligible last time. |
