Pre ordered Super Deluxe.
Start my new job on the same day so unable to go out and buy it. Will the CD be seperate from the book? Like in its own case. Strange question but was worrying about what may happen as I’m having it delivered and I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past. I often find their slower songs a little overwrought, but 'Monster in Me' is gorgeous. The production. The chorus melody. Clara Amfo did not lie, this album really is f***ing great. Not a single track (bar possibly 'Told You So', as cute as it is) below an 8/10 for me. Whew. 'Forget You Not' is THE one.

I am struggling to understand how "Forget You Not" is only a deluxe track? For me its better than half the songs on the standard album

I'm really not sold on 'Strip' as a single. It's a good song and I love the message, but it and WLM are definitely in the bottom half of the album. 'Wasabi' would've been a much better choice.

THINK ABOUT US. OH WOW. Wasn't expecting this kinda banger for some reason.
The studio version of Strip is very good. I'm not sure it'll work as a single, but I appreciate just how different it is not only for LM but for pop in general and it's so encouraging just how much the girls love it. |

Already my fave LM album tbh.
It's so much more mature and serves perfectly as the follow up to Salute (which was their best album up until now for me) and imo changes the game in pop a lil bit. I'm really intrigued to see how 'Strip' is gonna do coz it's either gonna smash or gonna flop. I can't see much middle ground for it. They definitely have songs that'd serve better as singles, but I appreciate the bold choice for this and it's clear that the girls absolutely adore it. |
