Hopefully Man United will get some new defenders this month but it's very unlikely. I have the feeling that there wont be many major signings being made in the January transfer window this year.

Can't see many big deals happening for the top clubs. I'll be interested to see who jumps first out of the bottom clubs who desperately need goals. bar Fulham.

Reckon we will see some random loan signings probably too.

I really like him as a player, but that's a massive price for someone who has shown little consistency and can't even get in the Dortmund first team at the moment. Paying a lot for potential, but no guarantee he will be anything other than a really good player, rather than an elite one.

I honestly think Chelsea next season are going to be a frightening team to watch, I can see a massive change in players. I can see Sarri trying to do what Klopp is currently doing.

Only way Chelsea are going to compete is by getting a world-class striker.

They potentially have one in Tammy Abraham. I doubt Chelsea will ever give him a chance though.

Abraham is good, but he’s never going to be world class. Many players can score for fun in the Championship but then struggle in the Premier League.

Thought the same - could still be a great player. He also gives us something different up top as a target man!

They have also signed Clyne on loan until June which is strange - who do we have as cover - Milner??

£19m rising to £25m and we have a buy back clause in there. That's great business. The lad needs to play and right now he's 4th choice. Admittedly in the summer at least one of Origi and Sturridge will leave (if not both). But I suspect this sale is a lot to do with the fact that Brewster is meant to come in to the first team and all the journos are saying we are in the a striker in the summer .

Agree Clyne is a strange one, but suspect the thinking is we have Gomez and Milner, plus Camacho as well. Plus again, he needs to play after 18 months out pretty much.
