08.0 The Woman Who Fell to Earth - A solid opening episode, setting the characters up well and of course, it gains a bonus mark for "Ryan Sinclair, don't you dare" x
06.0 The Ghost Monument - nice character moments but not especially interesting on its own 10.0 Rosa - sensitively handled, brilliantly portrayed and just superb all round 07.0 Arachnids in the UK - I enjoyed this a lot at the time but when you realise all the plotholes, it falls down quite quickly. Shame as it had a lot of potential and all it needed was one or two more scenes to wrap up all of the spiders outside of the hotel. 06.5 The Tsuranga Conundrum - gets a bit of a hard time even if it's not a classic, the Pting is interesting but overhyped and isn't focused on enough, and we could've ditched the pregnant man quite easily. 09.5 Demons of the Punjab - really enjoyable, way more than I expected, the aliens were a nice touch if unnecessary in the end and I loved the closer focus on Yaz. 09.0 Kerblam! - an enjoyable episode with probably the best mix of character and action across the main series. Wish there was more of an actual alien threat though! 08.5 The Witchfinders - another strong historical, King James I is a hoot and the aliens are pretty creepy at the start. 09.0 It Takes You Away - I really liked this, a brilliant experimental episode. The frog is stupid really but I loved the rest of it. 07.0 The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos - not a bad episode but an underwhelming finale, didn't have enough oomph and Tim Shaw wasn't an exciting enough villain for the stakes to feel high. However, he was more menacing than in the opener. 11.0 Resolution - outdid all of my expectations in spectacular style. Think this will have high rewatchability too! Overall an enjoyable series and those scores have made me realise I liked it even more than I thought. There are some definite teething errors and I think most episodes would benefit from a greater presence of a threat, plus they have got to share the screen-time between the companions more next time round (Yaz is severely underused). |

07.0 The Woman Who Fell to Earth - solid enough opener, Jodie the obvious highlight
03.0 The Ghost Monument - I can't really recall anything about it - was it the one with the flying sheet things? 09.5 Rosa - Good story and done well, villain was pointless though 05.0 Arachnids in the UK - it was okay but, as Joseph says, it kind of gets worse after you've watched it and realise the amount of holes in it all. 03.5 The Tsuranga Conundrum - Pretty much dreadful. The pregnant guy is the low point of the entire series. Essentially a monster chasing them around a spaceship genre that I usually like, undone by the monster not actually wanting to chase them at all. 07.0 Demons of the Punjab - Nice enough story. I feel I would have enjoyed this more if it didn't follow on from Rosa earlier in the series. 09.0 Kerblam! - Enjoyable and fun romp in a typical Who style, really liked it but think it deserved to be a two parter. 05.5 The Witchfinders - it was alright I guess but got worse as the episode progressed for me after peaking at the point the mud witch appeared. 07.0 It Takes You Away - I enjoyed much of this one, the scenery for starters! I also quite enjoyed the sense of a scandi style bleak plot with time shifts and dimensions. 07.0 The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos - I quite enjoyed this at the time but it didn't have that epic feel to it that closers often have, really was just a part II to the first episode. 07.0 Resolution - I enjoyed it on the whole but it still suffered from the common problem the series had, good idea with quite poor execution. Quite a lot of build up just for things to all come to a head too quickly because of the shorter timings for the episodes. |

Just seen a comment on Facebook that made me laugh, even if I think the series was more unspectacular rather than bad:
The TARDIS kicked Jodie out and hid away on another planet, it knew Series 11 would be so bad |
