Is it just me or are R1 suddenly doing direct A/B list adds a lot more often than they used to? Feels like it's almost a weekly occurrence now! Not heard their new song yet but nice to see Foals still getting good support here, also fabulous to see James Blake on there
 + Russ being added as well! That Lizzo song is also pretty decent and sounds like it could be a hit for her, has been holding up well on iTunes so just needs to get some Spotify playlists I guess ~Also great for Grimes & HANA moving up to A and Shy FX finally moving up to B after 5 weeks. |

As much as I dislike the person, I think the song is great! Nice to see that we’ve got 9 additions this week -can’t remember the last time that happened and good to see both Foals and Dua Lipa getting insta adds. Also very happy to see James Blake on there and hopefully the new Sigrid gets added very soon! |

I'm sure R1 have been 'done' with Chris Brown for years. They definitely didn't playlist 'Freaky Friday' and I don't think 'Questions' was playlisted either.
The fresh allegations against him aren't going to win him back anytime soon anyway. |

^^ Yeah 'Fine China' was the last Chris Brown single to be playlisted, and that was in 2013. Although he was playlisted on 4 different songs in 2015 as a featured artist, so that's still nothing for 4 years. I can't see him getting any further R1 support unless he somehow manages to have a huge hit single.

Yes it the thankfully does happen more often as the playlist has evolved in the OAOS era but it's still mainly either instant mega hits or huge established artist returns like Dua/Foals this week. Great to see Lizzos potential hit finally following radio 2 and 6 Music and making radio 1s playlist! Also fantastic to see new Foals and Grimes finally on the rise. |

Foals and FIDLAR stick out as the best adds, though Juice is growing on me. Wonder if it will be another Make Me Feel that gets support from 1,2 and 6 yet still does nothing. FIDLAR are a great band - tongue-in-cheek indie-punk anthems about depression, alcoholism, skintness, social anxiety and rubbish drugs. What's not to love?
Also wish Carly and The Vaccines had seen some chart action but wasn't meant to be. Great to see Grimes up to A-list too, though It's Not Living really has had its time now.
