"You Are The Only One" was one of the highlights of 2016 so hoping for something just as great. Also loved doing it on karaoke too! Surprisingly a lot harder to sing than you'd think, and when you take into consideration everything he was doing on stage as well, that was a great performance. He's very talented.

with a PR nightmare that the country is currently the less offensive the better so I'm not surprised

appealing to gays AND women aged 12-112 across Europe so 98% of the Eurovision audience covered

I remain cautiously optimistic if it does turn out to be a ballad. I expect a ballad to win this year anyway after Toy/Fuego domination last year.

I wish they'd chosen Manizha (and her song "I Am Who I Am" according to rumors?). Really would love to see some new names in the Eurovision. Sergey Lazarev's return is not timely and there are so many expectations on him which in the end it could turn out to be a disappointment. His song must be much better than "You're the Only One" (which is already very good) and I hope that is the case, otherwise Russia might not end up high in the contest again.
