BuzzJack Gold Member Pronouns: he/him Joined: 10 December 2013 Posts: 4,221 User: 20,217	I thought this deserved his own topic as today marks the 25th anniversary of the start of the auditions of a girl group that became the Spice Girls. 3/5 auditioned on this day. Geri joined in a later round and Emma replaced Michelle Stephenson later in summer.

I'd always got the impression that Victoria, Mel B & Melanie C auditioned on the same day & then all made it to the final stage & were chosen, alongside Geri who had blagged her way into a later stage of the audition! Maybe the management kept swapping girls in and out at the latter audition stages, before they finally settled on a line up they were happy with? As far as I'm aware, Vic/Mel B/Mel C/Geri & Michelle Stephenson were the ones to originally move into a house together, until Michelle left and they brought Emma in. Hmm!
