Hey Dexton
Wow @ Avicii entering at number one! I'm a bit underwhelmed by it tbh (as are most people from what I can gather) but no doubt it will grow and I'm sure there will be some great tracks on the album. That Lil Nas X song is a funny one, I like that it's different from what's out there at the moment and it would certainly make for an unusual #1 assuming it gets there on Friday. Plus it's great to have Billie Ray Cyrus back in the charts even if he isn't officially credited! 'No New Friends' is probably the weakest of the singles LSD have put out but it's still not bad. The album is a little disappointing considering the quality of the individual artists, so I'm not that surprised it's bombing. Is it doing any better in Australia? I'm not that fussed about 'Can We Pretend', it's not really the direction I want P!nk to go in, but at least the title track of the album is really good - possibly the best thing I've heard from the album so far actually! Great chart as always! |

Hi Dexton!
Great choice of #1, the drop isn't the best but the rest of the song is amazing, expect a big jump in my chart tomorrow! Not heard the Billie Ray Cyrus version of Old Town Road but the original is so catchy, very deserving of the #1 spot in thee UK! Nice to see No New Friends enter, think it's my favourite of the LSD singles so far! Shame they're not really taking off but I guess that's not their main purpose really. Have to give that Allday song a listen after giving him my +15 in BJSC, not sure what to think of this one really, he sounds a bit like Lukas Graham in a strange sort of way I'm sure I'd like it if I gave it time. Great chart |

Great chart as always! Hey Mango! Avicii was always gonna be #1 His third #1 debut to date and I think he's the only artist to have done so! I only heard Old Town Road for the first time last week so it's a high debut despite being a fairly old song, I really like it though! I'm glad it got to #1 this week LSD's album was a bit disappointing overall, I really like all the songs but I was expecting soooo much more from Sia + Diplo (and Labrinth ) Pink is underwhelming me across the board tbh, Can We Pretend is good but not her at all. Walk Me Home only just scraped into the top 20 for me despite almost all her previous singles being Top 10 and CWP/Hustle might not even make it Top 20 :/ Thanks! Hi Dexton! Great choice of #1, the drop isn't the best but the rest of the song is amazing, expect a big jump in my chart tomorrow! Great chart Hey Pete! SOS has definitely grown on me I'm the opposite - I haven't heard the original! I'm sure it's similar to the BRC version though! I'm glad LSD wasn't a bid to get easy commercial hits, or if it was they've really underestimated their name power No New Friends is good though, probably about on par with Audio for me (with Genius just above and then Thunderclouds a little higher!). The rest of the new songs on the album are alright too Allday Was such a surprise to see him in BJSC tbh, got my top points in the semi and the final which is rare! A great song although I might prefer Protection - I definitely recommend his discography for you though, I think you'd like You Always Know The DJ! He also has a song with Amy Shark n her Night Thinker EP Thanks! |
