I thought that Lizzo's real name was Elizabeth but it turns out it's Melissa, like Missy Elliott.

Dave and AJ Tracey Thiago Silva Non-album single Released: 13th May 2016 Label: Tropics Sound Chart Statistics NE (11/07/2019) | 57-36 Sales: 200k+ Certification: Silver Status: Accelerated Chart Ratio 23 Sales 41 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Dave Streatham, South London-born grime artist Dave (aka Santan Dave) may only have been 16 when he entered the grime spotlight, but his conscious lyrical style made him sound well beyond his years. Growing up, Dave was inspired to pursue art in some form. Taking cues from his older brothers, he initially tried his hand at animation before moving on to piano before finally settling on becoming a fully-fledged grime MC; unfortunately, his brothers would end up serving lengthy prison sentences. To cope with the drastic alteration to their lives, Dave burrowed even deeper into his music, causing him to develop a socially aware form of wordplay that set him apart from his peers. Despite starting to write bars around the age of ten, it was six years later that Dave would make his first appearance, freestyling on an underground grime channel, Bl@ckbox, in 2015. In January of the following year Dave returned with his first music video/single "JKYL+HYD," cementing his reputation for deep subject matter and ambitious lyrics. In the following months, Dave delivered two key freestyles on BBC Radio 1. The first was on Semtex's 1Xtra show and the second on Charlie Sloth's Fire in the Booth. A number of singles followed, including a standout collaboration with West London's own rising star, AJ Tracey, on "Thiago Silva." By September Dave was ready to drop his first EP, Six Paths. The release was a success in its own right, but gained even more attention when Canadian rapper Drake remixed the single "Wanna Know," bringing Dave's sound to an American audience. - iTunes AJ Tracey West London grime MC Che Wolton Grant (aka AJ Tracey) rose through the ranks of pirate radio, becoming one of the leading figures in U.K. grime's second generation of artists. Grant knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in music, due in part to his parents; not only was his dad a former rapper from Trinidad & Tobago, his mother was a former drum'n'bass DJ from Wales. By age six, Grant had started writing rhymes, coinciding with the first great boom in grime. Although the genre temporarily lost its way, Grant soldiered on, unwilling to give up on his passion for grime. By the time he had reached his early twenties, grime had started another upswing. During this time Grant became proactive in his pursuit of radio spots, working his way up through pirate radio before scoring appearances on Rinse.DM, NTS, and eventually even BBC Radio One. With his reputation in the world of radio firmly cemented, Grant released a string of EPs, beginning with The Front EP in July 2015, followed by the Alex Moran EP later the same year. In 2016, he further solidified his status as an emerging talent, with a combination of solid collaborations, more radio appearances, and the release of the Lil Tracey EP. The end of 2016 culminated with Grant's nomination on BBC's Sound of 2017. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Dave 2017 51 Wanna Know (feat. Adore Lizzo, but I just don't really like 'Truth Hurts'. Like, pretty much her entire album is better than this.
Pleased for her anyway though. |

Young Thug featuring J. Cole and Travis Scott The London Non-album single Released: 23rd May 2019 Label: 300 Entertainment / Atlantic Recording Corporation Chart Statistics NE (06/06/2019) | 18-22-21-24-29-32-35 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 86 Sales 21 Audio Streaming 28 Video Streaming Video Biography You don’t get a lot of warning for an artist like Young Thug. From his warped delivery to his radical, gender-fluid fashion sense, the Atlanta rapper (born Jeffery Lamar Williams in 1991) flies in the face of every unspoken rule for what hip-hop is, should, and could be. Starting with a prolific run of mixtapes in the early 2010s, Thug rose by pioneering a weird, ever-shifting flow somewhere between singing, rapping, mumbling, and squawking—pushing rap forward by pulling it apart. But the weirdest thing about what he does is that it works: Nearly every project Thug’s released since 2015—from the reggae-inflected JEFFREY to the country-ish sides of Beautiful Thugger Girls—has cracked the mainstream, laying the groundwork for a new crop of fellow eccentrics like Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. In other words, Thug hasn’t adjusted to convention but brought convention to him. Genuinely experimental, he frames his process in modest terms: “I’m in the studio so much, I’ll just try stuff,” he told The FADER in 2013. “I just think and try, think and try.” - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Young Thug 2017 51 Sacrifices (Drake feat. 2 Chainz & Young Thug) 2017 65 Ice Melts (Drake feat. Freya Ridings Castles 3rd single from Freya Ridings Released: 31st May 2019 Label: Good Soldier Records Chart Statistics NE (27/06/2019) | 91-85-52-34 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 08 Sales __ Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Freya Ridings is a London-based singer, songwriter, and pianist with a notably rich, soulful vocal tone. After opening shows in the U.K. for Gavin James earlier in the year, she made her headlining debut in May 2017. Concentrating on plaintive ballads, the show doubled as her recording debut; Live at St. Pancras Old Church was released by Good Soldier Records that September. It included an acoustic version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song "Maps." In 2018 she issued the sumptuous, slow-burn single "Ultraviolet" and collaborated with MJ Cole on the moody "Waking Up." That same year she issued a second live album, Live at the Omeara. Ridings' first studio EP, You Mean the World to Me, was released in early 2019. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2018 09 Lost Without You -1- 2019 57 You Mean The World To Me -2- 2019 34 Castles -3- Social Media Freya Ridings |

Martin Garrix featuring Macklemore and Patrick Stump Summer Days Non-album single Released: 25th April 2019 Label: STMPD RCRDS Chart Statistics NE (16/05/2019) | 95-63-36-34-40-41-36-33-26-33 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio __ Sales 28 Audio Streaming 96 Video Streaming Video Biography Few DJs have risen faster than Martin Garrix. In 2013, when he was just 16, the Dutch dance-music fan (born Martijn Garritsen in May 1996) paid for his ticket to Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, along with 330,000 other attendees; the following year, he performed there—and also at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Tomorrowland. The catalyst was his breakout hit, “Animals,” an electro-house anthem that sent shockwaves through EDM, setting the tone for several years’ worth of big-room bangers. (It also got the attention of Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun, who scooped up the teenaged producer for his roster.) By the time Garrix was 20, DJ Magazine named him the world’s No. 1 DJ. Since then, he has straddled dance cred and pop crossover, collaborating with fellow DJs Dillon Francis, Hardwell, and Tiësto (Garrix's mentor and early champion) as well as Usher, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa. He’s come a long way from the savagery of “Animals”: One of his signature moves, in songs like “In the Name of Love,” with Bebe Rexha, or “Ocean,” with Khalid, is something like the EDM equivalent of the power ballad: taking a silky, sensitive mood and building up the synths and drums until they sound all but indestructible. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Martin Garrix 2013 01 Animals -NAS- 2014 07 Wizard (Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway) -NAS- 2014 30 Tremor (Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix & Like Mike) -NAS- 2014 49 Gold Skies (Sander Van Doorn, Martin Garrix & DVBBS feat.
