 Matty Healy, Alex Turner, Oli Sykes, Van McCann - four of the biggest frontmen in guitar-based bands right now, and that is the theme for this contest! We've had 21 entries for this contest, as per the norm all voters must use the 12 point system (12/10/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1) when submitting. Even if you did not enter, you are still able to vote and the deadline for this voting is Thursday 18th July 23:59 BST, so a week and a half. I used that as the opening track of a mixtape at some point. Feel it in my bones is great too although I haven’t listened to it in ages now. It’s very typically bj contest winner. |

Ah I had a Modestep song in mind initially but wouldn't have made the grade anyway.
Good to see the traditional 20+ turnout still in tact. Now if only we could get back to the full house of voters days! |

 I had an amazing thing to enter with, it could fit perfectly there Anyway, some of great names here in the list made me sure that it's gonna be a nice CB once again! Also excited to hear the tracks that I'm unaware of at the moment! |

I must say I wasn't expecting to be a huge fan of this edition given my general dance preferences don't tend to incorporate guitars (despite one of my favorite ever albums ironically being the guitar-driven Immersion by Pendulum, go figure) BUT once again this contest has pulled it out the bag in a big way!
I have a very very clear top 2 at the moment but need a few more listens to sort out the rest. |

I wanted to vote now but I'll wait a little more - wow, what a great contest, only 21 entries and my top 15 is better than a BJSC final.
Penalised the entries that I already knew HARD, there are so many great discoveries  I usually flop in CB, I can't see myself doing too well this time either, but I hope some of you will enjoy my entry! |
