Whether you like the song or not, pick the song that you believe is the song of the summer!
For me, it’s I Don’t Care. It has spent more weeks at #1 during Summer than the others. What do you think? My personal favourite is Old Town Road though! |

I prefer both Señorita and Old Town Road, but yeah I Don't Care will probably be the one that the GP remember most / would call the 'song of the summer'.

Old Town Road by far. It's still everywhere.
I don't know anyone who actually particularly likes I Don't Care and would listen to it outside of a playlist and I can't say I've really heard Senorita out and about yet. |

I'd say I Don't Care, followed by Senorita. Old Town Road is still big but I'd say that's more of a contender in the US than it is here.

Wish You Well by Sigala and Becky.
I don't get the point of the poll really; just because a song gets to number 1 in the summer, doesn't make it the song of the summer. This post has been edited by ElectroBoy: 28th July 2019, 03:18 PM |

Wish You Well by Sigala and Becky. I don't get the point of the poll really; just because a song gets to number 1 in the summer, doesn't make it the song of the summer. Well on an objective level it's surely the biggest song over the summer period? We'll all have our own individual choices but on a national level it's undoubtedly one of these three. |

True; but then if that's the case the poll is surely redundant anyway as it would be the biggest of the 3 songs - so IDC by default |

I’d say Old Town Road. may not have spent as long at number one in the UK but it’ll end up being better remembered in the years to come, and is clearly the more iconic song.

It feels like there's been a lack of defining summer hits this year, perhaps as it's only been the last couple of weeks we've had decent weather and we're already halfway through the summer. There seemed to be loads last year but again that could have been because we were blessed with a gorgeous summer start to finish.

hard to pick, on a grand scale it's probably Old Town Road, though that feels more like a 'year-defining' hit while Senorita is more of a summer track. I Don't Care is too bland to really define anything

I Don't Care has been the biggest one but I think it's quite clear that Old Town Road is going to be the one that will be remembered as defining this summer.

Same goes to Old Town Road for this year. |
