Martin Garrix and Dean Lewis Used To Love Non-album single Released: 31st October 2019 Label: STMPD RCRDS Video Biography Martin Garrix Few DJs have risen faster than Martin Garrix. In 2013, when he was just 16, the Dutch dance-music fan (born Martijn Garritsen in May 1996) paid for his ticket to Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, along with 330,000 other attendees; the following year, he performed there—and also at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Tomorrowland. The catalyst was his breakout hit, “Animals,” an electro-house anthem that sent shockwaves through EDM, setting the tone for several years’ worth of big-room bangers. (It also got the attention of Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun, who scooped up the teenaged producer for his roster.) By the time Garrix was 20, DJ Magazine named him the world’s No. 1 DJ. Since then, he has straddled dance cred and pop crossover, collaborating with fellow DJs Dillon Francis, Hardwell, and Tiësto (Garrix's mentor and early champion) as well as Usher, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa. He’s come a long way from the savagery of “Animals”: One of his signature moves, in songs like “In the Name of Love,” with Bebe Rexha, or “Ocean,” with Khalid, is something like the EDM equivalent of the power ballad: taking a silky, sensitive mood and building up the synths and drums until they sound all but indestructible. - iTunes Dean Lewis For a while there, singer-songwriter Dean Lewis could have been lost to the gaming world. In 2005, he represented Australia playing Halo 2 at the World Cyber Games in Singapore–and finished fifth. But after developing an obsession with Oasis, he secreted himself in his room with his acoustic guitar. Born in Sydney in 1987, Lewis first took up the instrument at his father's urging at age 12, but only started to take it seriously in his late teens. “I spent all these years in my bedroom not thinking I was good enough,” Lewis told Apple Music. “It took a lot of people to say, ‘Oh, you’re good enough to do it.’” One of those people was Savage Garden’s former manager, whom Lewis met at a boat party via a mutual friend. Upon hearing Lewis’ music, she helped land him a publishing deal. Hundreds of songs later—some of which went to artists such as Australian singer Taylor Henderson—Lewis released his debut single, “Waves”, in 2016. Imbued with James Blunt’s vocal vulnerability and Chris Martin’s knack for turning the everyday into a sweeping, affecting, relatable tune, “Waves” is a rumination on life becoming less exciting as you age. And it showcased his ability to land a killer blow in one line: “I watched my wild youth disappear in front of my eyes.” “That really personal style of writing is something I got from Bruce Springsteen,” he said. It’s on full display on his debut album, 2019’s A Place We Knew–the follow-up to his 2017 EP Same Kind of Different. Songs such as “7 Minutes” and “Be Alright” combine personal heartbreak with melodic, contemporary soft rock. “Ninety percent of the things I sing about are things that have happened to me,” he offers. “That’s how the songs connect.” - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Martin Garrix 2013 01 Animals -NAS- 2014 07 Wizard (Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway) -NAS- 2014 30 Tremor (Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix & Like Mike) -NAS- 2014 49 Gold Skies (Sander Van Doorn, Martin Garrix & DVBBS feat. Afternoon everyone!! As always, NO SPOILERS PLEASE! Excited to hear Dua's debut, and the Frock Destroyers hopefully they play the full thing today. They'd have to find some way of getting around the 'she takes it up the...' line first I guess, that's probably why it wasn't played on Sunday. |

They'd have to find some way of getting around the 'she takes it up the...' line first I guess, that's probably why it wasn't played on Sunday. Capital played it the same night in the Big Top 40! That particular line was simply edited to "she takes it ________", so an edit does exist! |

Halsey Graveyard 2nd single from Manic Released: 13th September 2019 Label: Capitol Records Chart Statistics NE (26/09/2019) | 52-57-49-38-36-29-43-40 Sales: 70k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 42 Sales 54 Audio Streaming 29 Video Streaming Video Biography Halsey is the alias of New York-based pop artist Ashley Frangipane. The New Jersey native took her moniker from a New York L train subway stop, and her adopted city plays a large role in both the sound and lyrics of her dark, gritty electropop, which has been compared to acts like Chvrches and Lorde. Based on the strength of her first single, "Ghost," she signed a deal with Capitol-owned electronic/dance label Astralwerks in early 2014. Her debut EP, Room 93, arrived in October of that same year. In 2015, Halsey released her debut full-length album, Badlands, which featured production from Lido, the Futuristics, Son Lux, and others. Included on the album were the singles "Ghost," "New Americana," "Colors," and "Castle," a version of which also appeared on the soundtrack to The Huntsman: Winter's War. Badlands debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and sold well, ultimately achieving gold certification status. In January 2017, Halsey returned with the single "Not Afraid Anymore," which was featured on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. Three months later, she released "Now or Never," the first single from her sophomore album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. Featuring collaborations with Sia, Greg Kurstin, and Benny Blanco, the LP appeared in June 2017 and topped the Billboard 200. A remix of the LP's dark pop single "Alone," featuring Big Sean and Stefflon Don, arrived in March 2018. Later that year, she featured on Blanco's solo single "Eastside" alongside singer Khalid. The track became a Hot 100 hit and added to a late-year boost with her features in Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (voicing Wonder Woman) and A Star Is Born. A single, "Without Me," arrived in September. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2015 34 The Feeling (Justin Bieber feat. Halsey) 2016 01 Closer (The Chainsmokers feat. Graveyard's drop last week looks very peculiar! It's a pretty decent song but she's yet to get anywhere near Without Me with the solo material that followed for me.

The two musicians had previously performed together in Mytown, an Irish-based boy band that enjoyed moderate success at home but failed to generate international acclaim. After the group disbanded, Sheehan and O'Donoghue spent several years in Los Angeles, where they worked as producers alongside the likes of Teddy Riley, the Neptunes, and Rodney Jerkins. They later relocated to Dublin and recruited Glen Power as their drummer, trading promising careers in production for a blend of contemporary R&B and polished, anthemic pop/rock. Forging a unique sound based on a diverse list of influences (including U2, the Neptunes, Timbaland, and Van Morrison), the Script saw their debut single, "We Cry," receive heavy airplay in both Ireland and Britain, as well as a nod from the influential BBC Radio DJ Jo Whiley. After signing with Phonogenic Records, the group relocated to London and scheduled both a debut album and an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival for summer 2008. Their eponymous debut album proved to be a meteoric success, topping the charts in multiple countries and establishing the Script as 2008's most popular newcomers. The buzz carried through to 2009, when Paul McCartney and U2 both enlisted the band to open several sold-out shows. The Script's sophomore effort, Science & Faith, followed in September of 2010, extending their global reach further by hitting the Top Five in both Australia and the U.S., but also reaching the number one spot in both the U.K. and Ireland, just as their debut had done. Summer 2011 brought packed arena shows in South Africa, but also saw them play to 55,000 people at a headline show in Dublin, a performance that was later released as the concert film Homecoming. During the first half of 2012, O'Donoghue further raised the profile of the band when he appeared as a judge alongside Tom Jones, Jessie J, and will.i.am on BBC1's prime-time talent show The Voice UK. That year, the Script released their third studio album, #3 -- recorded in Studio 3, Sphere Studios, Battersea -- which included the single "Hall of Fame," featuring will.i.am. The album maintained their international commercial appeal, cracking the Top Ten in the Netherlands and reaching number 13 in the U.S., while the single became their most successful to date, reaching the Top Ten in no fewer than 21 countries. Spring 2013 brought a U.K. arena tour -- which had sold out in a week the previous September -- before the band returned to the studio to demo new material. Inventively, the Script also brought Jamie Scallion's fictional band, the RockAteers, to life that year. They recorded and streamed online their interpretations of the songs mentioned in the Officer Kicks frontman's series of novels for young adults, The Rock 'n' Roll Diaries. When 2014 came around, Sheehan, O'Donoghue, and Power began to prepare for a number of large U.S. summer shows alongside Colorado's OneRepublic. The Script also released their fourth studio album, No Sound Without Silence, featuring the single "Superheroes." After a brief break, the Script returned in 2017 with "Divided States of America," "Written in the Scars," and "Rain," the first singles from their fifth LP, Freedom Child. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2008 15 We Cry -1- 2008 02 The Man Who Can't Be Moved -2- MILLIONAIRE 2008 21 Breakeven -3- 2009 47 Talk You Down -4- 2009 96 Before The Worst -5- 2010 04 For The First Time -1- 2010 42 Nothing -2- 2012 01 Hall Of Fame (feat. will.i.am) -1- MILLIONAIRE 2012 32 Six Degrees Of Separation -2- 2013 20 If You Could See Me Now -3- 2013 91 Millionaires -4- 2014 49 It's Not Right For You -IG- 2014 03 Superheroes -1- 2014 26 No Good In Goodbye -2- 2017 15 Rain -1- 2019 38 The Last Time -1- 1 x #1 | 4 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 7 x Top 20 | 11 x Top 40 | 16 x Top 100 Social Media The Script ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 37 | 50 | 4th week Poundz Opp Thot Non-album single Released: 11th October 2019 Label: Latario Brown Chart Statistics NE (24/10/2019) | 45-48-50-37 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio __ Sales 58 Audio Streaming 08 Video Streaming Video Top 100 Chart History 2019 37 Opp Thot -NAS- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 0 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Poundz |

Instead, the low-key R&B powerhouse finds solace in the studio, where angst, lust, and self-doubt morph into mesmerizing confessionals. For Walker, putting it all out there is healing: “Pro Tools sessions are my diary pages,” she tells Apple Music in Up Next: Summer Walker, the documentary film about her ascent. “That’s why a lot of my songs are emotional.” As a child growing up in Atlanta (where she was born in 1996), Walker would wait until her mom went to bed before going into the bathroom to record videos of herself singing songs and playing guitar. When she posted those clips on social media, the reaction was immediate—she had something. Her songwriting style—which she explored on her first two releases, Last Day of Summer and CLEAR—is both mysterious and bare-bones; the more she reveals about her heart and mind, the more captivating she becomes. “I don’t really need the pain/But I love to feel the pain,” she admits on “Deep,” a song that wrestles to distinguish between sex and love. To listen is to witness Walker working it all out in real time. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2019 41 Girls Need Love (Summer Walker & Drake) -1- 2019 24 Playing Games -1- 2019 42 Come Thru (Summer Walker & Usher) -AT- 2019 70 Stretch You Out (feat.
