Anyone who's watched This Week will know just how powerful his 2-minute opening monologues can be (in particular his evisceration of Fidel Castro & his legacy was particularly scathing), so imagine if he was given 30 minutes to do the same, straight to camera, on the Tories legacy since 2010? It would be even more devestating to Boris than any interview with him could ever be.

I think you'd find that would break impartiailty rules and land the BBC in a heap of trouble with Ofcom as the Tories would complain.
