Interesting that Harry was added after Niall but taken off earlier, despite it peaking much higher.
Shocked that 'Encore' didn't make the A-list, ending Catfish & The Bottlemen's run of 13 consecutive A-list singles. The last time they didn't make the A-list was with 'Fallout' back in 2014! Not sure why they needed to A-list that awful 1975 song though. Wasn't expecting Little Mix or Mabel but it would have been nice for Radio 1 to playlist a Christmas song. |

on the contrary, wrong single choice x The Weeknd, Blinding Lights is much more better don't get how they can pick Heartless when it's a carbon copy of his last 5/6 releases it' so same-y they could request the occ to combine sales for his last 5 singles  are we expecting R1 to playlist the Littler Mix and Mabel Xmas songs? do they usually playlist new Xmas songs? |

God this statoon is so try-hard and appalling. Coldplay should never have been on the a list with that awful song.
The only song they have right is Lana del Rey. Where is the frozen song?? Oh that's right. Thwy're too busy trying to look cool. |

Surprised radio 1 didn't Playlist the LM of Mabel Xmas songs as they are regulars on the playlist. It'll be pointless to support them anytime after this week.
Radio 1 have supported Xmas songs in the past but mainly not this decade for some reason. They did support The Power of Love by Gab Alpin and Somewhere Only We Know by Lily which I consider to be Xmas songs. The last song specifically about Xmas on the playlist was probably Coldplay Christmas Lights in 2010 or The Wombats Is This Christmas in 2008. |

It seems like they’ve changed their mind and they’re playing Blinding Lights instead of Heartless by The Weeknd. Not sure why they’ve decided that considering Heartless is doing better anyway.
