Yeah, agreed on both counts. Despite the subtitle I have heard of beabadoobee, I like her voice but haven't been overly impressed by any of her songs so far. This is the 4th consecutive week we've had an insta-add to the A-list. Can't see us getting one next week though, unless they joint playlist a Stormzy album track with 'Own It' maybe. We should be glad there's NE on the A List as in a few weeks they may not get any songs into the Alist like happened over Xmas last year. Although we are lucky there's no break like back in the day. Good NEs for CamelPhat and Kano continuing to get further single support.

I'll just stick around and do some more damage Joined: 14 February 2009 Posts: 115,034 User: 8,300	I've been making sure to listen to the new songs added to the R1 playlist each week this year but have now got to one which I literally can't listen to - Jme has been really serious about making this album physical only, this song really isn't available to stream anywhere! (I suppose there'll be someone uploading an illegal version somewhere but I'm not interested enough to go to that length x). Surprised considering that that he's even bothered pushing a song from it to the radio. Not really that interested in any of the new additions this week, the Harry song sounds ok on first listen but really nothing special / worthy of the massive hype campaign, 'Rabbit Hole' and 'Can't Hold We Down' are decent too but both artists are capable of much better. It is cool to see 'She Plays Bass' making it onto the main playlist after previously being an Introducing track though ~ 'Living Proof' is easily the worst of the songs Camila put out from this album, why on Earth is she trying to make that a thing... I could look past the occasionally dodgy vocals on 'Never Be The Same' but it's like she took that song and decided to make it again but with even worse vocals!

He wants only """true fans""" to hear it apparently ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's a bit silly, I hope he will make it available to stream at a later date so the physical exclusivity is only temporary. Curious as to whether he'd have charted higher or lower if it had just been given a normal release, I'm not sure if he'd have been a big enough force on streaming to offset the numbers he'd have lost from people choosing to just stream it instead of go out and buy it.

If you're gonna do a physical only release, at least press enough physical versions in the first place :')
