Ha yes, very Can't Hold Us. It's catchy, energetic and has great staging, I'm sure that'll do well.

Wow, love this, great track and she has a great voice, a real classic ballad sound to it. Sounds like Falling by Julee Cruise in places (the Twin Peaks theme).

Moplombi. I feel my teeth coming in.

Yes, why give your heart? OK I'm being increasingly sold.

Now I'm not, dreamer winners etc. Pretty dull and uninspired.

I find Mohombi's output all so generic and safe, I felt the same way about Hello. Decent enough but about 8 or 9 years out of date and not something I'd actively seek out to listen to.

Faith 9.25/10
Mariette 9/10
Amanda 9/10
Anis 8.5/10
Drängarna 8/10
Mohombi 7/10
Albin 5/10

Thankfully I found a few goodies to take away after the uninspiring clips.

I'm not sure how the results will go, I don't see Albin having any chance whatsoever but the other six could well do, although I suspect Amanda will sadly finish sixth.

I really like the Mohombi song! That and Mariette were my two faves so pleased he's managed DTF. Predicting Anis for the second DTF though (not begrudging that either tbf)

My least favourite finalist so far but I don't think it will be a big contender. Would be a very bland Eurovision entry for Sweden.

Wow, four DTFs in a row for Mariette!

She seems to have a lot of goodwill from the public but has never really translated that outside the contest for some reason, I don't think any of her entries have even charted top ten in Sweden.

Quite sad for Faith, I really enjoyed that so it's sad to see her go straight out. Happy for Mariette though, it's a strong song.

In my mind it's Dotter vs Anna from what we've heard so far. But Hannah Ferm will no doubt have something huge next week. Very hopeful that they'll finally be sending a female anyway!!

Felix's song hasn't followed in the footsteps of his previous entry to become a big hit in Sweden yet, so it doesn't look like that will be contending.

Swedish charts are probably a bit hard to understand for outsiders tbh - we have "Svensktoppen" - which is a public service program that charts songs that the people have voted on weekly and we have the official (somewhat sale based) charts. The former tends to be the official chart that tends to be in the public's mind. pirate.gif

Just caught up, Amanda and Faith were robbed blind in this heat!

Mariette's entries just get worse and worse and she still goes direkt, claps for another female DTF I suppose.

Mohombi is fine, a very safe entry but would be an underwhelming winner.

Mariette was better than I expected but I agree it's her worst to date. Definitely looking like we're getting a female winner, either Hana or Anna with Dotter perhaps contending, but watch Victor Crone pull something out now laugh.gif

Faith's promo picture really did her dirty, there looks like a 20 year old age gap between that woman and the one who was on stage tonight!

Anis Don Demina was my favourite of the night but what an average heat, nothing that I feel inclined to really go back to. The four that were already in the final before tonight, remain unbothered.

Yeah, it's my least favourite of her four too..and I don't know if going DTF four times is a record since heats were introduced (? - not like many people enter that many times), but it feels like an undeserved achievement.
