Out of interest, are these your charts from that period or are you compiling them now with tracks from those months?

ahhh some classics here! This is my uni era, just hit 22 biggrin.gif

Escape is fab (Guardians Of The Galaxy fab these days), Please Don;t Go topped my chart, as did Confusion, Don't Bring Me Down, Another Brick In The Wall, I Don;t Like Mondays, Pop Muzik, Brass In Pocket, I Have A Dream, Don;t Stop Till You Get Enough, We Don't Talk Anymore and Tusk - all short runs on top in those days cos the competition was immense wub.gif

Ones which SHOULD have topped my chart, but havent yet: Rock With You, Video Killed The Radio Star, With You I'm Born Again, My Girl, Que Sera Mi Vida, and there's 3 I don;t know! (European hits of course, though I know Gloria - Jonathan King had just had a UK hit cover with it).

Look forward to seeing this progress smile.gif

These are my own charts from that period, aka my charts from 1980. I took these from my own chart archives from 1980 to now.
Thank you for your question and for checking out my first throwback charts!

Cruisin' is a lovely song, Sara is absoutely gorgeous, and It's Different For Girls is sad but nice. Good to see MJ on top for 2 weeks, he peaked at 2 for me at the time, so it's Justice for Jacko biggrin.gif

Cliff also topped my chart, albeit summer of 79, one of his greatest singles that one!

NIce to see Blondie, Gary Numan, Blondie, Specials, Jon & Vangelis, Boomtown Rats, and those naughty Vapours all enter. Atomic and I Hear You Now both topped my charts yahoo.gif
