Not sure how this is going to go, question 7 (and perhaps question 3) is the only one where I'm confident that I've definitely got the top answer.

Right, starting off with question 1...
1. Name an artist that has featured on any of Olly Murs' top 40 singles. [11] Demi Lovato: coi, paulglib, xajnipi, jimwatts, Dexton, MrAndrewMan, tgl92, SamJudd, diva thin muffin, Jordan Lee, gavindeejay, Jahq [10] Flo Rida: Dobbo, awardinary, Bjork, n4yr, WhoOdyssey, West, girlsaloudjunkie, LewisGT, dan.G, Bré, chrissmith276 [7] Rizzle Kicks: vibe, M4NGO, Scene, Dan17F1, PeteFromLeeds, Jade, Riser, King Rollo [0] WRONG - T-Pain: Mack Not quite sure what Mack was thinking of when he thought T PAIN would be a correct (and popular!) answer for a well-known Olly Murs feature... but there you go. Everyone else fared rather well here, poor Snoop Dogg and Travie McCoy being shunned tho :'(. So, a great start for all, aside from Mack. But lets hope this doesn't translate to poor form for him, maybe he'll bounce back and be right amongst the points in the next round...... I put Demi Lovato then changed it as I wasn't sure if that many people even remembered 'Up' oops. I should not underestimate BuzzJack's female bias xx (at least it wasn't much of a points difference ~)

Oh oops I was flip-flopping between Rizzle Kicks and Flo Rida as those collabs were way more iconic than 'Up' shouldn't have underestimated female power

My first thought was Flo Rida but then I thought Demi was going to be more popular. I decided to stick with my original thoughts for each answer because I think it's more annoying when you change your mind and lose points than if you never change.

2. Name a #1 single from the past 5 years that spent only one week on top of the charts.
[12] Billie Eilish "No Time To Die": Dobbo, vibe, paulglib, Scene, WhoOdyssey, Dan17F1, girlsaloudjunkie, LewisGT, dan.G, PeteFromLeeds, Riser, chrissmith276, King Rollo [5] Ellie Goulding "River": coi, jimwatts, MrAndrewMan, SamJudd, diva thin muffin, Jahq [3] LadBaby "I Love Sausage Rolls": awardinary, Bjork, xajnipi, Jade [1] Harry Styles "Sign of the Times": M4NGO, n4yr [1] Ariana Grande "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored": Jordan Lee, tgl92 [0] LadBaby "We Built This City": gavindeejay [0] Drake "Nice For What": Dexton [0] Lewis Capaldi "Before You Go": Bré [0] DJ Khaled "I'm The One" (feat. Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Quavo & Lil Wayne): West [0] WRONG - Nick Jonas "Jealous": Mack Standard stuff here, although I must say I was not expecting "Before You Go" to have seemingly been completely erased from everyone's memories. Poor Bré. Ellie Goulding's completely valid #1 which could not be questioned in any way did well here, so I'm baffled as to how Lewis was shunned. Also, notably, you have to feel bad for gavindeejay, picking the wrong LadBaby song . |

Yay at Demi! Flo Rida never even crossed my mind even though I loved "Troublemaker". I was between her and Rizzle Kicks, weighing up the power of #1 single vs. more recent single/female artist/much more well known & successful act

3. Name a boyband from the 2010's with at least one top 40 single, but no #1 hits.
[8] The Vamps: Dobbo, M4NGO, awardinary, Bjork, coi, jimwatts, dan.G, Jahq, Riser [6] BTS: vibe, tgl92, Dan17F1, SamJudd, LewisGT, PeteFromLeeds, King Rollo [5] Union J: paulglib, n4yr, Scene, girlsaloudjunkie, Jade, Bré [2] Lawson: xajnipi, Jordan Lee, Lawson [1] Jonas Brothers: Dexton, WhoOdyssey [0] Westlife: chrissmith276 [0] Loveable Rogues: West [0] CNCO: diva thin muffin [0] D-Block Europe: Mack [0] Rak-Su: MrAndrewMan This was another question with some rather questionable choices, the first of which being Mack (who's still on 0 points at this point :x) classifying D-Block Europe as a boyband Similarly surprising to see was West's decision to go for the Loveable Rogues (!) - now that's a blast from the past. Expectedly, the Vamps were the most popular answer here but they didn't sweep the floor like I imagined. (Also, although Westlife and the Jonas Brothers both formed before the 2010's, they still fall within the criteria of the question, so they're correct answers.) |

4. Name a track by Ed Sheeran that hit number one.
[24] "Shape of You": Dobbo, vibe, M4NGO, awardinary, Bjork, coi, paulglib, jimwatts, n4yr, Dexton, Scene, MrAndrewMan, WhoOdyssey, tgl92, Dan17F1, SamJudd, diva thin muffin, girlsaloudjunkie, dan.G, PeteFromLeeds, Jordan Lee, Jade, Bré, chrissmith276, King Rollo [2] "Perfect": LewisGT, gavindeejay, Jahq [0] "Thinking Out Loud": xajnipi [0] "Bloodstream": Mack [0] "I Don't Care": Riser [0] "Beautiful People": West This was arguably the biggest landslide out of any question. I was expecting "I Don't Care" to be the most common! Mack continues his streak of getting 0 points in every question by guessing Ed's 2015 Rudimental collab "Bloodstream". For the 7 of you that didn't guess "Shape Of You", it may be a bit of an uphill struggle from here... |
