On the 19th of this month, the girls celebrated an unprecedented pop group/girl group milestone... they reached 9 years together as a group. No break up. No member change. No "hiatus" in between. 9 straight years of success. What have been your favourite moments? Either personally (going to see them live etc) and/or just being in awe of them as performers or doing something. --- I will also be using this thread to host a 9 Years Of Hits, listening session this Sunday, 23rd August @ 8pm to celebrate the girls achievements and just to get a good vibe going in this thread/to keep the celebration going! I will be using this Spotify playlist (if anyone uses Apple Music and could create a playlist like this one, that'd be thoroughly appreciated!) --- Hope to see you there, but in the meantime, use this thread to celebrate their 9 years together |

What I find seriously interesting about Little Mix is that they peaked commercially with their fourth album. The fact they came from a reality show where typically most contestants have one huge debut album and then it's downhill (Leona, JLS, Alexandra etc) makes it even more impressive.
Like...they were five years into their career and already had a ton of hits before Shout Out To My Ex even happened. From October 2016 to Reggeaton Lento the following autumn they were HUGE and I have such fond memories of blasting all their singles and hearing them on the radio/tv channels everywhere for that year. Obviously they're still having hits and doing well but man, the Glory Days era was just amazing to watch. They even performed at One Love Manchester with Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry that's how f***ing big of a deal they were in the UK. |

The listening session is happening tonight! Hope to see some members join in 😁
Also, some more stories on Little Mix and their impact on you/pop culture are very welcomed. I'll write some when I get time. |

I think their most iconic moment for me would have to be when they performed Touch on The X Factor. It was just a perfect performance from the amazing vocals at the start to the epic dance break. Hopefully we will get to see more great performances like this when The Search starts.

Ya my thoughts they aswell, they really did progress with each album and built up their success. They were initially very successful but maybe not as successful as some before them but in complete opposite they got bigger as they moved on where previous winners saw their success dwindle with each release. They really exploded with glory days and it's great they will be still going strong for their 10th anniversary which is a rarity for acts coming from x factor. Even better there are no signs of a split and I really hope they continue to stay together. |

Starting off with their coronation winner's single.
This is genuinely one of my favourite X Factor winning singles. Top 5 at least I imagine. It's sweet! |

The song that really kicked their careers off! I love how proud the girls are of this song. Every time I hear it, I think it sounds dated, but I also think it sounds pretty fresh! Lol.
It's a bop, they've just out done it several times since! |

Wings is great and worked really well as their first single. It's great how they still love performing it live also.

What a SONG!
Loved it the first listen and it's only gotten better ever since, for me. An underrated gem imo! |

I have a soft spot for this song. It reminds me of a very early 'Nothing Else Matters'/'The Cure'. It gives me that stadium ready pop anthem.
I think Perrie's ad-libs on the chorus should all have been saved for the final chorus though! |
