It's brilliant that he's been nominated but it should be Robbie and Guy together.

After all - they asked Guy first and he asked if he could co-write with RW.

They were so lucky.

Theatres really are one of the major casualties of this pandemic aren't they.

So many out of work actors.

THE BOY IN THE DRESS CAST ALBUM ANNOUNCED

QUOTE
The Royal Shakespeare Company will release a cast album for their new musical, The Boy in the Dress, it has been announced

David Walliams’ heart-warming comedy was brought to the stage for the first time in a musical with all new songs from Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers, script by former RSC playwright in residence Mark Ravenhill and in a production for all the family directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran.

The cast album will have musical supervision and arrangements by Bruce O’Neil and musical direction and arrangements by Alan Williams. Tom Deering and Chambers also provided orchestrations.

The Boy in the Dress official cast album will be available to pre-order on CD and iTunes from 16th November and available to purchase on CD and stream on digital platforms from 4th December.

On 5th December, as part of a live-streamed event to launch the cast album, David Walliams will take to the stage at the RSC to read from his book, while Chambers and members of the cast will join him with a variety of performances.
