I feel it's def more official than Cruel Summer/Getaway Car (I never believed the CS stuff for a second and GC seems like it was going to get a single push/video but then she moved to Republic so that was the end of rep era singles), however this could easily pan out like New Year's Day's push to country which faded out in about 10 seconds

supposedly country radio are playing an edit of this at 4:14, 41 seconds shorter than the original! I had a feeling that was gonna happen laugh.gif

I think it's probably to get some hype building as its the first song Taylor has properly pushed to country radio since Red/Highway Don't Care (icr if Babe was sent and New Year's Day had an adds date but never really got much of a proper push). cardigan is getting no plays on country radio as far as I'm aware!

Taylor has done some mini interviews/clips for country radio & this is already getting some early adds, a promising start and seems they're acc gonna try properly push this *.*

I hope after CMA Betty is finally getting more airplay on country radio, but I got a feeling that once you left country musid for pop country radio doesn't like you anymore, it happened to Shania Twain, too.

Idk that was my initial thought when they started pushing it but it seems like they're really opening their arms for her comeback so far! <3 The radio airplay start is really strong so far considering how long it takes country radio songs to take off
