BuzzJack Legend Joined: 18 July 2012 Posts: 22,832 User: 17,376	25th October 2020 It's a new chart-topper for Paloma Faith, her 4th, with Falling Down defying gravity and rising to the top, thanks to a brilliant rhythm track, drums especially, and a passionate vocal, as Lucia & The Best Boys are Perfectly Untrue at 3 bringing back guitar riffs in pop, hooray! Shawn Mendes gets the only top 10 climber, it's a Wonder that it's taken him 5 years of chart entries to get a solo top 10! New at 11, Kylie's latest Disco cut not-a-single must surely be the next one, talk about catchy, I Love It! London Grammar leap up almost 50 places with Californian Soil for a 2nd top 40 of the year, while newies include Tom Grennan, Amen to that, PUBLIC, Paloma Faith's 3rd track, and like Kylie a Grat from a new album. Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood have a new album of remasters coming out (yes!) and start the ball rolling with a 1976 track for the French market that passed me by at the time and I've never heard, in at 85 with Indian Summer 49 years since Did You Ever got the naughty ball rolling. Hot Chip get a 7th chart entry in 14 years, or 1 every 2 years on average, bringing along Jarvis Cocker, who's taken 13 years to get his follow-up to his solo track, though it won't be too long since 30 years of Pulp's debut will be up. Bruce Springsteen has been busy plugging the new album and gets 2 simultaneous tracks for his trouble, extending his run to exactly 45 years since Born To Run debuted. McFly replace themselves in the chart, Imelda May returns after a gap of 3 years, 11 years on from debuting, & Brian May lends his licks to a ballsy cover of the fab Lieber & Stoller standard I'm A Woman, as definitively covered by Peggy Lee in 1962, and 2 60's oldies enter thanks to sales on itunes (I know not why) - Wonderful World went top 5 in 1988, 20 years late, and Miriam Makebo sneaks At first I thought it was very run of the mill but I love it. Wonder hitting the top 10 YASSSSS. I heard the new Kylie track yesterday. Unfortunately I'm not a fan and I also really don't understand why she's out it out so soon after Magic??? Ok Not To Be Ok hitting the top 20 now it's so good. And demi now has another top 20 under her belt here! Say Something I feel like all Kylie Tracks should be as amazing as this one. Super chart!

You're going to love my top 10 this week if you love Paloma Faith! The Kylie track is a grat ahead of the album, I can see it being the next single, but you never know with Kylie often she doesn't release even the best tracks on her albums as singles OK Not To Be OK is one that could be the sound of 2020 if people start using 2020 as a backdrop to self-isolation stories in TV and films in decades to come. Not that I'd watch anything set in 2020!
