Ariana Grande may score a third week at #1 with positions, meanwhile Little Mix's Sweet Melody could reach a new peak with the album boost. System Of A Down return after 15 years with Protect the Land/Genocidal Humanoidz and Maluma joins up with The Weeknd on a remix of worldwide hit Hawai

The battle Buzzjack has been waiting for - it will either be a second #1 for Little Mix with Confetti, or an eighth album chart topper for Kylie Minogue with Disco, with big sales expected for both. New releases include Dutchavelli's Dutch from the 5th and Giggs' Now or Never, along with The Kid LAROI, Ólafur Arnalds and Shirley Bassey

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Excellent early totals and with no streaming.

Both easily beating the top two full week totals from Ariana and Sam Smith last week

I mean if Mabel can go as high as #15 with each song that’s shes released in the midweeks, I’m sure Little Mix will be in the lead already

What is the sales per stream for an album sale again?

1000 streams = 1 sale, and the top 2 most streamed songs are weighted down to the average of the whole album. Only a maximum of 12 songs count.

Sad for Kylie. She has no chance. Super great numbers for both, and LM album is great also. I wish one of them was outlast week instead.

I think it’s still even, so don’t panic battle is still on.

Kylie sold 2k signed copies on HMV which won’t have been added as the dispatch date is the 10th.

Graham Norton will have given her a boost too.

Not at all. This is still a “battle” that’s anyone’s to win. What happens this week as well as the effectiveness of their promo will be the clincher. They’re looking to do similar (amazing) figures.

I think people greatly underestimate both artists and their fanbases.

So a million streams of an album equate to roughly one thousand sales?

Pending the top 2 songs being downweighted, yes!
