As with Mariah on the singles, Bublé is most likely to top the album chart when Christmas Day falls towards the end of the chart week, so probably not this year.

Xmas is on a Friday so that sure will benefit the Bubble album, his peak sales will be on the tracking week leading to Xmas and not split into 2 weeks like it happens in many years. My money is on Buble as I cannot see anyone sustaining big big sales for more than 2 weeks. |

Bublé has only been in contention in recent years because of streaming, and the two biggest days, Christmas Eve (as it's a Thursday so will likely be underestimated) and Christmas Day (as it's in the following chart week), are hardly going to count for the chart announced on Christmas Day.
Last year, when both those days of streaming counted towards the chart of 27 Dec, he got to #2, but was #1 on streaming and only #7 on sales. |

Yeah but christmas is being hammered harder than ever this year so i wouldnt rule him out |

I don't think Steve can edit the poll after it's been posted, I'll add in some options.
(although I'm not really sure what's supposed to be contending looking at how bare the schedule is, so feel free to suggest options and I can edit them in) |

Robbie Williams perhaps? He seems to be teasing a deluxe version of The Christmas Present

It is a strange one this year as the pandemic might effect things but people could go mad from the 2nd dec and physicals could soar again as people make up lost ground.
There’s usually one album that catches the public’s imagination I mean last year we had Coldplay, a Robbie Xmas album and Xmas week releases from Stormzy and Harry but Rod managed to beat them all. Macca seems well placed this year with all the preorders etc but will he be too late establishing himself? Before the physical collapse an album released in the opening weeks of November starts to dominate but that’s maybe not possible these days. Who are the three that voted other? |

Unless we get a big surprise name drop it could literally be anyone’s to take with the right promo, looks like we won’t be getting a huge #1 selling album but the market should be steady with the number of releases.
