Thanks for all the comments last week <3 (lol at me charting Sam Bailey 7 years ago) |

Hey Hun! Oh My God! There's so much here to love this week (ofc I'm referring to Taylor's new album xo)
Oh Santa! At #1 I found a space in my rotative playlist so that I can chart it next Wednesday. That's two days before Christmas FYI! Gold Rush An Instant fave from the album for me. Absolutely sublime! Sweet Melody has REALLY started falling for me now. I mean it could hang around a while but it's getting lost in the shuffle now tbh. Marjorie is another fave of mine. I'm preplexed at the reaction to it because to my ears, it sounds very very radio friendly. Ah. Dorothea, Betty's sister not as massive on this one, but it might grow on me. Willow It's quite good tbh but it wouldn't have been my 1st pick for the lead from Evermore. It does sound somewhat like an Ex Sheeran rip-off though I can't quite put a finger on what song of his it sounds like. No Time For Tears omg what is happening here Jade I thought we had an understanding that you love everything Little Mix does and will give each song of theirs at least 20 weeks each on your chart?! So I just listened to Be The One. It's alright. I'm amazed at how much his music hasn't evolved since he first burst onto the scene! It's very similar to his early days. One last comment... OH MY GOSH at all those songs leaving your chart this week I couldn't imagine charting more than a maximum of 10 new songs in one week and even then I'm not sure I'd actually chart that many new songs at the same time. HOLY MOLY Fantastic chart this week Jade EDIT! HAW YOU. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH CHARTING SAM BAILEY! xoxoxox |

HOLY MOLY Fantastic chart this week Jade EDIT! HAW YOU. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH CHARTING SAM BAILEY! xoxoxox Hey there James I'm pleased that 'Oh Santa!' is set to chart for you just in time *.* shame that has such a limited shelf life as a Christmas song - the chart run for that isn't going to be pretty in a few weeks time but for now it's fabulous, life-affirming, total bop etc. I'm so glad that you've highlighted 'gold rush' as a favourite too <3 I knew from about the first 30 seconds that I was going to absolutely love it! I agree that 'marjorie' seems to be a bit underrated so again, pleased you also appreciated it, it's definitely the song that hit me the hardest emotionally <3 'dorothea' was one of the most instantly memorable songs for me and really quite pretty, thankfully appreciating it more than 'betty' 'willow' has been such a grower, just like 'cardigan' the music video helped it click a lot more <3 what would your pick for the 1st single be instead? Oops poor 'Sweet Melody' I guess the girls themselves are moving on to the Nathan collab so understandable that it's outshining it for you right now! I honestly thought 'No Time For Tears' would be holding up better as December is usually SO dead for new music - but yeah, Taylor alone changed that this week could still climb when the music video drops etc. This week really was mad, 20 new entries, although Taylor alone was 9 of them what can I say, such a fresh chart! I'd say Rudimental have gone more down a garage route nowadays compared to the original D&B sound! Although I guess they haven't totally lost their brass elements, the recent one with Anne-Marie definitely highlighted that. she's no Same Difference x thank you for commenting <3 Taylor Swift album bomb happened in your chart Jade I need to listen to Mariah/Ariana/Jennifer just for curiosity, even though I don't chart Xmas songs!!! Nice to see Bklava still hangin' in top 10 Hey there Addy Quite! She's killing it this year with 8 'folklore' songs and 9 'evermore' songs charting in 2020 here *.* Ooh yes I would of course recommend that I feel like I rarely chart Christmas songs either - definitely the first time a festive song has topped my chart! Yay <3 still sounding amazing! thank you for commenting <3 |

Oh Santa hasn't done so well in the UK chart both in 2010 and this year with the new remix, surprising as it is another good Christmas song from Mariah I think.
No Time for Tears on the downward trend on your chart, I am still not bored with it though and am hoping it will do better in the New Year. It reminds me in style a bit of early Misteeq when they still did dance songs. |

Hey there Snake Yeah it's such a shame that 'Oh Santa!' hasn't properly taken off but I'm at least glad that it has a new peak both here and in the U.S. now. What a tune! Indeed, quite a lot on the downward trend with so many new entries hope it clicks with you more in time! So disappointing that it's barely dented the chart so far but I'm sure it'll bounce back hard after the Christmas rush has died down. I'll have to listen out for the Mis-teeq comparison next time! thank you for commenting <3 |

Hello Jade!
First thing I was looking for was where Apricots featured in your chart as you had posted that you started to like the song now! Prisoner still climbing, it’s a new entry in my chart this week! That new Rudimental one hasn’t hit me yet, I need a few more plays me thinks. Also an honorary mention of Cristoph too! Anyway thank you for sharing your personal chart, and if you want to view mine for this week here is the link. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=241600 Until next time! |

Hey Jade
gold rush straight in at #2! Gotta say it's one of my few favs of the album. I listened to the album in full once but I haven't gone back since, oops. Loved folklore, and evermore is good but a tad underwhelmed! Prisoner climbing still! I'm with you on this, it's such a grower, absolutely love it! Sweet Melody still top 5, we love to see it! It's just had it's 7th week at #1 for me I'm surprised that Rendezvous is the Little Mix album track that's lasted the longest here, it just didn't click with me! Great chart |

Hey there Wardy Haha yeah my post in the dance forum was a bit of a hint that 'Apricots' was going to debut here! I've heard it a few times on Radio 1 now and it's really crept up on me. 'Prisoner' only just peaking in my affections now indeed originally I was ever so slightly put off by how obviously derivative the chorus sounded (*cough cough* Olivia Newton-John - 'Physical') but was able to quickly get past that and appreciate the song it all its glory. Shame that the Rudimental song isn't quite hitting you, hopefully it'll be a grower. Yessss Cristoph just had to sneak in! Just checked out your chart thanks for commenting on mine too <3 Hey Jade gold rush straight in at #2! Gotta say it's one of my few favs of the album. It's just had it's 7th week at #1 for me I'm surprised that Rendezvous is the Little Mix album track that's lasted the longest here, it just didn't click with me! Great chart Hey there Adam Indeed not quite as impressive as 'seven' from the previous album debuting at #1 but still a great result. I'm glad you're enjoying it too I hope the album grows on you more! I really like it although do agree that 'folklore' is superior so far. Yeah I can't get enough of 'Prisoner' right now! Continuing to keep the 80s sound alive in the chart along with a select few others (well, minus some of the Christmas songs too that actually are from the 80s ) Yesss 'Sweet Melody' is doing so well in a chart that contains many turbulent chart runs! But of course its run in yours is even more impressive, wow *.* Haha yeah there's something about 'Rendezvous' that is really to my taste <3 I think some of my LM faves have always been a bit weird in general though - I remember 'Notice' being a huge LM5 favourite for me but a lot of people on here not really liking it that much thank you for commenting <3 Hi there Jade! Nice to see Taylor Swift debuts, my favourite has to be "No Body, No Crime"! I also like seeing "Prisoner" in the top 3! Great chart! Hey there Sergej Yeah she's really dominating this week! 'no body, no crime' is a great choice of favourite <3 I'm not the biggest country fan but there's something really compelling about it. Enjoying the love for 'Prisoner' in these replies thank you for commenting <3 |
