See, I always thought it was because the other 3 would cut her out of certain things and the realisation culminated during lockdown. Example: the Comic Relief climb up Mt. Kili. 2 of the girls went, and the other (Perrie, was it?) was constantly Facetiming them during their trip....but no mention of Jesy at all being in contact. It's like, they worked well as a band but she'd drifted away. As people grow, we grow into and out of certain relationships, and perhaps the 3 just bonded better. Nobody's fault. And, as I've said before, all this is just conjecture. I just wish them all the best. Especially Jesy. Oh stop. We know nothing about them aside from the odd interview and TV appearance and what they post on social media. Them not Facetiming her in March 2019 doesn’t mean they drifted apart. |

Even if there was the slightest tension this year, it's nothing that couldn't be overruled by the YEAES that they were close. If Cheryl and Kimberley can overcome calling Nadine "full of shit" etc and now following her back this year... Little Mix will be fine. They'll be back as 4 at some point. Whether it's in 2 years or 10.

That’s precisely my point. We just don’t know, we don’t know if the same pattern carried itself over into other instances too. |

The funny thing for me is that a lot of international fans/youtubers/reactors etc. perceive(d) Jesy as the leader of the group. She had a raw confidence in performances/interviews which is I guess kind of darkly ironic if she was struggling behind the scenes. Maybe in a way that contributed. Also I do wonder if there was some kind of clash with management, for example, after Jesy honestly admitted that she didn't like Black Magic in an interview. I know loads of us fans really appreciate when the girls are honest in interviews, but it's possible it led to shouting matches or similar behind the scenes, and she just decided she didn't want to put up with that any more. Being in a girlband especially is very difficult in terms of the image you present. So much of the media has insisted that only children are allowed to like girlbands/pop music and so they must always tone down their personalities so as to be socially acceptable. After ten years, I can see that becoming jarring too, especially when you are otherwise independently wealthy and should have a lot of freedom. I fall into that category. And I know of several other non EU/Uk Mixers who also feel that way. Jesy, to us was the pop star who succeeded despite not fitting into the formula. She was raw, fun, talented and just herself. Example - My cousins daughter went to some summer camp and during a talk in self esteem, Jesy was mentioned as an example of how talent and confidence triumphs over style (other names were kelly Clarkson and Pink). She brought that “identity” to LM. I don’t live in the UK but it appears a lot of UK Mixers see all 4 as equal. This post has been edited by markivj: 17th December 2020, 12:52 AM |

True but it would be naive to think something else hasn’t been going on. The unfollowing the management is very telling. There has been disagreements of some sort clearly. But we will only know if and when they talk about it. The 3 of them will be absolutely fine. |

Something between management and Jesy? Possible. Her contract was probably a bitch to negotiate.
Something between Jesy and the girls? No lol. Why do people keep trying to paint that narrative? Are you that damaged from past girl groups that you can’t just accept there’s no bad blood? Jesy didn’t take part in a lot of things, true, but it’s been continuously said that she doesn’t like doing those sorts of things. She started being more comfortable just saying no. Going out means you get papped, there’s chances for people to make comments. As someone who has lived a lot of Jesy’s mental anguish I know exactly how she’s feeling and how she’s felt in the past. I just think the constant “eee well they didn’t like this and jesy unfollowed their manager” like howay? I wouldn’t be surprised if the girls have stayed off social media for a bit, they’ve lost 1/4 of their group, a pivotal member. It’s going to be hard going back online and seeing all of the edits, fan outpours etc. Even if it’s all lovely, this will still be incredibly hard for them. Jesy had time to make peace with it, they weren’t cause they probably didn’t know until Jesy announced it to them. |

(I sound so messy but I still think it’s a bit bizarre none of the girls have commented/liked/mentioned her on their solo profiles)?

I thought they would at least acknowledge Always Be Together getting to number one, but I presume they have know this moment was happening way before any of us and decided between them not to acknowledge it till they are ready. Still feel so sad about the whole situation. |

It does seem like a weird situation. I had thought the girls would still be active on socials and such while Jesy would continue to take time away. However the opposite is happening.
I hate to think that their friendship might have been affected by this but something just doesn't feel right. |

I don't know about the other two but Jade has been active on Instagram posting stories etc. I would have though, at least for PR sake, that they'd comment something generic under Jesy's posts. I don't think she even 'liked' the group post announcing her departure either. |

Does she need to? They both said their pieces publicly, but let's not forget we don't know how much was said in private. There's nothing concerning about not liking each other's posts etc, they just don't need to put on a performance to prove they're friends.

They don’t have to you’re right, but for a group who have base themselves around their friendship and sisterhood etc (and given how much they usually post on Insta etc) it is odd that they each didn’t individually acknowledge Jesy’s departure, except from one pretty generic official statement. We get that they may have said things in private etc and that’s fair, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to question why they’ve been so quiet on that front. |

(Sorry but I STILL find it weird she hasn’t even mentioned the #1 or anything Little Mix related since leaving)
Before anyone jumps me and reminds me that yes, she left for mental health reasons and the pressures of the group but the complete silence over her last song with the girls hitting #1 and the fans campaign for it is slightly weird. It’s a huge achievement for her as well. She’s back to posting selfies on Insta so it’s not like she’s on a social media break. |
