The only song I have heard from Mimi Webb (the one that was in BJSC)... I don't recall sounding like Billie Eilish at all? But the only thing I do remember about it is that her voice sounded absolutely horrible on it
 so here's hoping this song sounds a bit better if it's going to be a hit. x

Presumably Duncan Laurence must have been not far outside the top 200 on Spotify before then, explains where he's been mysteriously getting enough streams to re-enter the official chart.

if Mr Brightside is just going to be top 40 eternally now then perhaps Spotify should do a separate chart for old songs to encourage newer music, this would also help newer songs during December from people who just stick the Top 50 playlist on.

It doesn't make a difference to them financially whether it's older or newer songs being streamed so I don't really see why they'd do that. Especially as they have their curated playlists to promote new(er) music already.
