I'm just going to do a top 20 as I felt stretching it to a full top 25 was starting to include a few songs that I really don't care much about at all.

Blue Monday is an interesting one. It's one of my favourite songs but I didn't vote for it in the first round as I don't like the 88 remix. It did really well in the first round so I'm assuming people are voting for the 1983 original. As you say, the sales in 1988 would have included the original if that was also available in the shops so I suppose it's alright for this poll to be based on that version. On that basis, I gave it 25 points in my own semi-final vote.
