Drake could score his seventh #1 with one of his new tracks from the Scary Hours 2 EP, or Olivia Rodrigo might hold on for a ninth week. Expect a new entry from Justin Bieber with Hold On and the first offering from Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak) with Leave The Door Open. There's also new singles from AJ Tracey, No Rome, Maroon 5, James Arthur and Girl In Red

Kings of Leon return with When You See Yourself, set to become their sixth #1 album. Zara Larsson's third album Poster Girl is among the new releases along with Gabrielle's Do It Again, A Day To Remember's You're Welcome and Arab Strap's As Days Get Dark. Other new albums include Jane Weaver, DMA's, Mason Hill and Dimension

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Presumably Kings Of Leon will get the number one with ease this week. Anyone know what their last album opened with?

^this is from last time KOL charted in albums:

In another week of extreme volatility at the top end of the chart, Kings Of Leon's seventh studio album WALLS stands head and shoulders above the rest, earning the familial Nashville quartet - comprising brothers Nathan, Caleb and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew - their fifth straight No.1 album on sales of 49,964 copies (including 4,267 from streams).

That's more than three times as many sales as any other album, and slightly more than the rest of the top five combined, but it is pretty sluggish by their own standards - on their debuts at No.1, Because Of The Times (2007) sold 70,451 copies, Only By The Night (2008) sold 220,879 copies, Come Around Sundown (2010) sold 183,298 copies and Mechanical Bull (2013) sold 71,765 copies.

so in summary:
Because of the Times (2007) - 70,451 copies
Only By The Night (2008) - 220,879 copies
Come Around Sundown (2010) - 183,298 copies
Mechanical Bull (2013) - 71,765 copies
Walls (2016) - 49,964 copies

I guess if you keep making this exact same comment every week it has to come true eventually.

I hope BED is going to be a slow-burn Top 5 rather than a bit of a mis-fire.
