THE COI TOP 40 - 19 March 2021
It's finally returned! And hopefully this time the restart will last a bit longer than the two weeks it did last time back in January 2020, although unfortunately I did stop maintaining my own weekly chart as well so no chart runs this time, but we go again... Olivia Rodrigo's smash is up against The Weeknd's post-album single for the top of the chart this week, although of course both of those would have been number ones already if the last few weeks were included. Tiësto and ARTBAT are both still very high up despite doing enough in 2020 to make the (currently unpublished) EOY top 40, the latter is experiencing a boost from being Arcodesia's return entry to BJSC. There is also a bit of a Mogwai takeover still after their number one album As The Love Continues a few weeks ago made a huge impact here too. Some old entries also feature as a result of the Nuggets contest which took place recently, the highest of these comes from Soda Stereo. I don't really comment on people's personal charts too much (I do read them though!) but
 welcome back and I see a lot of great stuff in here, particularly pleased to see several Mogwai songs showing up! 'Pat Stains' and 'To The Bin My Friend, Tonight We Vacate Earth' being my faves of those ~ (on the other hand 'Ritchie Sacramento' is probably my least favourite song on the album despite being the most popular one, just find it a bit plain and ordinary compared to the rest but hey if it's getting them attention then I'm for it).

Hey, I didnt know Masked Wolf, but wow sounds really good, since seconds 3 lol. I like these kinda of hip-hop.
About the number 1, very hot song these days, even that is not my type of song, i know is very nice. I prefer Save Your tears tho  your top is not very mainstream, there are many songs to check ;P So far 5/40 songs that i enjoy. By the way, Soda Stereo? pretty interesting that in the chart lol, anyway good song ! |

Hey Coi! Welcome back to the PC forum!!
Drivers License is a wonderful #1  love it. I honestly really didn't get why anyone liked this to begin with, I thought it was so overrated.The Business yay! Such s bop. This one has really grown on me since it released and I'm so happy to see it doing well officially as well. Your Love is fantastic as well. This is another one that grew on me. I was hesitant to chart it at first actually. I'm really enjoying it now. Believe Me is good. I heard that first on Friday just past and I'm surprised that I'm enjoyed it honestly  Chemtrails Over The Country Club  This is probably Lana's best song imo.Fantastic chart!

nice to see this chart make a comeback!
sadly I'm not a fan of Drivers License but I enjoy most of that top 10 particularly the Tiësto and ATB songs as well as your BJSC entry. Space Melody was a big hit in my chart as well from lower down the chart. |

 To be honest I don't even know where to start as there's so much crossover here  another chart containing Ariana, Julien and Mogwai in one go? Hell yeah!Fantastic #1 Olivia got way too much hate in the chart forum so the one good thing about her hefty drop is having to read less of that now fantastic song with a bridge that is making me long for new Lorde music even more tbh with its 'Melodrama' qualities.Great chart

I've been meaning to listen to Julien Baker's album for ages now but just not getting around to it  I was obsessed with the boygenius EP but Faith Healer went completely over my head!Loving 'Best of Me' of course! Thanks so much for re-introducing that to me with that perfect shorter edit *.* Also enjoying 'Crystal Rain' at the moment! Surprisingly only heard the new Kali Uchis today and it's decent, shocked it's becoming her breakout hit though! Great first chart and looking forward to more

Soda Stereo is quite an unusual entry in here being quite old, but I only discovered it a few weeks ago when someone entered it to the Nuggets contest on the forum! I'm happy that drivers license was such a big hit, and yeah I've been a fan of The Business for ages and never thought it would have as much success as it's having at the moment, love to see it. Great first chart and looking forward to more Faith Healer didn't do that much for me either but Favor was great so my interest came after hearing that, and it remains my favourite so if you don't get around to the album I would recommend listening to Favor at the very least! Thanks for the support for Best of Me, I thought the radio edit was a lot better too (plus it saved the complaints about it being far too long  ), and yeah Crystal Rain is still growing on me and sadly it looks like telepatía may fall short of becoming her first top 40 hit being stuck with a frustrating #41 peak, hope it can somehow make it at some point though.It's not quite my first chart on here, I had one most weeks between August 2018 and January 2020 before it stopped but it's good to be back to both this section and BJSC now, we'll see how long those last
