Still think Jim's being unnecessarily harsh on himself but it's a very noble gesture - should make the title race very interesting!
Another call for hosts, the next five slots are all empty so can we have some more sign ups? I've got lots of ideas that I haven't used up in previous quizzes so I'm sure I can put something together but I don't think anyone wants me to host the remaining five weeks in a row and it would be better if there was a greater variety of hosts and quizzes. |

That sounds good. I've actually got something similar in mind lined up for a future quiz but if you can come up with one then go for it
 just let Wardy know what week you can host it so he can add you to the schedule!

Dan has offered to host a Pointless Fortunes round this weekend and we've cut the schedule from 12 to 10 weeks so there's only two more slots left if anyone wants to claim them

If no one else comes forward I can scramble something together although that would be my third quiz of the season and I'm not sure how people would feel about this, especially given that I'm doing quite well on the leaderboard and could potentially win?

I think you’re very likely to win now anyway, which will be well deserved. I’m just delighted to be in the Top 5 as it’s the first full season I’ve played. So I don’t think it matters from that point of view if you host another, but it would be nice if you didn’t have to obviously.

I've decided I'm just not very good at these quizzes. Apart from the albums covers one where I got lucky and worked out the connection and it all came together, I've scored low every other time.

Also people on here have crazy levels of knowledge - I sometimes set quizzes for work and I wouldn’t dream of making the music round anything like as hard as the one I’ve set this week, even for teams of 6! Plus I think you get better at quizzes the more you do.

OK, I have about 8 Family Fortunes questions and I'm sure I can think of a few more by Sunday, so I can do that as the last quiz of the series.
What day/time is best for results? If it's on a Monday night I'll go with that, although with a Sunday night deadline if there's a flurry of last-minute entries, that's not ideal with work the next day Maybe results on the Sunday evening?

Well at least there are 4 of us still in contention... but realistically, 3 of us, and maybe Chris, are playing for 2nd place. The real question is whether Mangø can beat my 29.4 points winning margin from last series!
