In case it's been missed, the video for 'You Can Call Me' is below.

Also, a new remix of Mr Haze by GBX & Paul Keenan, which sounds very early 2000, worth a listen.

Wow, this was always an unexpected collaboration at the time, certainly wouldn't have expected to see another, especially as Texas have become even more MOR with their recent albums.

I think it's the most instant single they've put out in a while though. Although the melody chords are basically the same as Summer Son?

I agree, I guess they released the Wu-Tang Clan version first as they thought it would bring in more attention?

Loving Mr Haze! Really good use of the Donna Summer sample.

Mr Haze is better than hi but neither tracks have the magic of their peak career days.

It samples 'Love's unkind', this song is such a grower, possibly stronger than 'Hi'.

It’s been a long time since Texas sounded this good imo, their last couple of singles could have easily been from their heyday of the late 90s.

'Mr Haze' is really endearing, mind you it'd be pretty hard to make that sample sound bad!

not familiar with the original, but sounds good, it's a smart use of the sample (=the Ava Max influence) biggrin.gif
