Posted this before, but these should have been the best-selling 40 of '89 (as per Popchartfreak charts "sales"). No apologies for the Jason Donovan inclusion, far and away his best record, cos I was also rather fond of it at the time and I didn't have the excuse of being young (I was 31 laugh.gif )

Exactly the same top 3 as Dandy *.*

I very recently discovered 'Sowing The Seeds of Love' as it's sampled in the dance song 'Open Your Eyes' by Love Legend & Alex Gaudino, which was released towards the end of last year, so that led me to discover the original and it's indeed great.

I wouldn't put money on it laugh.gif

I caught him camping it up in the Priscilla Queen Of The Desert stage show though, so maybe there's a few newer fans, you never know.... biggrin.gif

I didn’t spot that, what taste! *.*

I too like Sowing The Seeds Of Love, all the singles from that album were lovely. Although STSOL is very Beatles-esque so I’m not surprised you approve. Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down) is probably my favourite of theirs.
