Ugh. I can't stand her. 3 for 3 for me. 'Pasadena' is one of my songs of the year. 'Bouncin'' is fast approaching and getting to that status. |

It's been released
'Let Go' is a nice introduction. 'I Can See the Future' is a bop. Keeps growing & growing. 'X' is amazing! 'SHY GUY'... WTF. I need a full version of this! FFSSSSSSS!! 'Bouncin'' is one of the songs of the year for me. Infectious and just incredible. Not feeling 'Unconditional' right now. 'Angels' is lush. '333' is really interesting! I'm really liking it. 'Undo (Back to My Heart)' FUCK YES! YES! YES! YES! OMFG! 'Let Me Down Slowly' is great too. 'Last Call' is cute, could be a grower. 'The Chase'... HOLY SHIT. STUNNING. Really, REALLY gorgeous! Loving the subtle 80's vibe to it. 'Pasadena' top 5 songs of the year! Incredible. 'Small Reminders' is very good, love the mish-mash of genres that blend surprisingly well together. 'Bouncin'' feels pretty random to get a part 2, but it's gorgeous! 'It's a Wrap' is slick. Really like that as a closer! Along with 'I Can See the Future', 'Bouncin'' & 'Pasadena' my clear favourites are 'X', 'Undo (Back to My Heart)' & 'The Chase' - the latter especially... obsessed! I need a full version to 'SHY GUY'... I don't get why it's only used as an interlude!  Loving this. A couple of filler, but another great album for me.

My review:
Let Go - nice dreamy vibe for an intro but nothing to write home about I Can See The Future - definitely bringing the mood up and showing off what she does great straight away, early highlight X - this is a little throwaway for me, mainly due to the production SHY GUY - very Kelela/Rochelle Jordan, I need full version! Bouncin’ - been playing non-stop; a complete bop!! Unconditional - surprised this is the Kaytranada song, it’s very meh Angels - so beautiful, I love Tinashe’s voice on ballads so much 333 - a throw everything at the wall type affair, need more time to sit with it but it’s wild and confusing for now Undo (Break to My Heart) - the most reminiscent of Songs For You on the album. I love immediately. Let Me Down Slowly - Sam Sparro wrote this apparently? I really like this one Last Call - meh, cheesy and no chorus. a skip for me. The Chase - THE highlight - so different but the best she’s ever done pop! Pasadena - has grown on me and is cute for what it is, but not a career highlight by any means Small Reminders - another throw everything at wall type song but this one merges together much better! Bouncin’ Part 2 - obsessed, production very mixtape Tinashe and so sexy. I have missed sexy ‘Vulnerable’ T It’s A Wrap - great album closer, shame it’s not longer Really loving this. Doesn’t hold a candle to SFY currently for me as that had no misses whereas this definitely has a few. I think some of the songs are definitely hindered by her trying to have too many ‘Cash Race’ style switch ups and they don’t manage to recapture that moment quite the same. I do love how experimental it is though and I think it’s definitely an extremely strong project again from my fav. Keeps winning. |

There are quite a few growers on this. 'Angels' being the biggest one for me. That is sublime. Her voice is f***ing gorgeous on it. I also LOOOOVE the title track too. Especially the last part.
