Why does Sarah Jane have more votes? The way this survivor has gone is extremely questionable
 went with Jack - his return so far in the Chibnall era has been completely pointless, serving no purpose at all other than to resolve the prison cliffhanger, and while I adore him in earlier series' and in Torchwood, Sarah Jane is just untouchable in comparison

She is a Classic Companion. A great Classic Companion, but seeing as she only had 3 appearances in New Who and was actually only in a total of 4 episodes (1 of which was just a cameo), I think its amazing she still here and outlast great companions like Bill. |

I agree with ElectroBoy, Sarah Jane is obviously great but she's a bit of an anomaly among the ones that are remaining.

It's not like Jack's been in substantially more episodes than Sarah Jane though? Yeah he was obviously created specifically for the NuWho era, whereas Sarah Jane is definitely there for more nostalgic reasons (at least when she first came back in School Reunion), but throughout all of NuWho I'd say they both have a pretty great legacy, both having their own dedicated spin-off too.
Sarah Jane being in less episodes but them not being random, inessential appearances makes her more special, but that's just me. |
