Mon the Mods *.*

I see Fever Ray's 2 previous albums both made the low end of the top 100, not sure if this one will chart as well but fingers crossed. Think I'll check out the new Manchester Orchestra too although that is just a 6 track EP (same for Nia Archives).

Imagine Dragons were Top 10 (now #11) with Evolve earlier, any idea why that might have been?

I agree this U2 album will probably get to #1 but surprisingly they haven't had a #1 album since 2009, their last two albums got to #6 and #5 respectively.

well those last 2 albums are a bit tricky to judge... cos we got the one that was given awy for free to everybody
even if you didn't want it, you got it too biggrin.gif so not sure if that counts as a miss
then the last one was a sorta companion to the previous one... and even with a #5 debut it sold 40K in week 1...
so sure they will be #1 this time with zero competition

There isn’t a lot out this week apart from U2, is this a new album or a GHs?

Neither! It's an album of re-recordings - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songs_of_Surrender

Ooh, I see that Enter Shikari have a decent chance of finally getting a #1 album this time around! Their release date of April 24th is currently looking quite empty.

That’s a good point - although it’ll be hard to judge what their sales will be like.

I did think she’d be a couple of spots higher, yeah. Although I suppose the ones above do also have strong fanbases, and Lana will do the best on streaming out of them.

Rooting for Lana to hit #1 but Depeche Mode would be great too. Wouldn't mind Fall Out Boy either since they've never had a #1 before. Basically anyone but Luke Combs please kink.gif (coming for a top 4 of decent selling new entries? Since Luke's previous albums have been strong catalogue sellers, he's had a couple of singles chart recently and his last album made the top 10 already).

And do I dare to dream of JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown making the top 100 ~

Quite intrigued by the Black Country, New Road live album - it is all new material written since Isaac Wood (the lead vocalist on their first two albums) left the band, I wonder if this release means these songs aren't actually planned for their next album? The Bush Hall performance got quite a bit of buzz but I was planning to wait until studio versions came out to hear the songs, I think I will give this live album a listen now it's been released though.
