Wow, I am very pleased with 12th place! biggrin.gif Wohooo! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for Greenfroze's very first instrumental entry heart.gif

Oh, and that top 3 (make it top 4!) is beautiful wub.gif I'm so happy for them!

Many congratulations to St Burbia in winning and thank you very much Kath for hosting.

Sixth place, bloody hell, did not expect this at all, many thanks to everyone for voting for Dolores Forever, I'm absolutely delighted with this.

Congrats to St. Burbia on the win, best entry from you for a while! Glad to see it was so well received broadly.

Great to see The Cat Empire do so well for Séyetana too, I've listened to them for years (albeit not their more recent songs so this was technically a discovery) but never thought to enter them. Maybe I didn't think they'd gel well with a BJSC audience and maybe "Thunder Rumbles" has broader appeal than their older songs but what a track.

Also, I loved the hosting theme, thanks Kath. Seeing Necki Menaj everywhere was a core memory unlocked moment. laugh.gif

Congrats burbe! Not sure how I didn't see 'sever the blight' as a big contender, seems obvious now but glad to see swift justice for Hemlocke Springs after 'girlfriend' underperformed. 'Mon Amour' is a solid runner-up, and I would've put money on Singerpurear to win, great result for Pet Shop Boys nevertheless. And yay for my 18 (Chinchilla) sneaking in the top 10.

Further down, really chuffed for Niceland, wasn't expecting 'Asumbulwe' anywhere near the top half so 14th seems incredible for them! On the other hand, disappointed in bottom-half results for Skall, Yehesi, Nelionoir and Aesthetica, thought most if not all of these would be much bigger contenders.

And now I see I was kept out of the final by Lotunia, which happened to be my 8-pointer in the semi, so that would've been bittersweet if I somehow made it through at their expense.

Thanks Kath for hosting, it's been years since I paid any attention to Nekci Menij and I enjoyed reliving those videos!

Eyy I'll take my best result in over a year biggrin.gif Thank you, that was quite a lot of points, and it was really surreal to see my track in 3rd at one point especially since I'd always discounted The Cat Empire as a bit too weird for here - a more normal but still fantastic result of 16th is great to see at the end. Niceland and Askorza doing really well is great, both were top tier discoveries - Ojnoj and Zanmatony unfortunately low but I expected both, I'm very happy they both got to the final.

Congrats to Burbe, that's a great winner and a great finisher in second for Quintessa, can't believe it was so close.

Thank you Kath for your wonderful hosting throughout, very polished contest.

Fab hosting Kath, and yes it's hard work (and stressful), so host volunteers always appreciated by me! yahoo.gif

Well done Burbe a great entry and condolences Leonardo so close too! Thanks to everyone getting Pet Shop Boys top 5, a huge fave of mine that should have been a single (still not too late Chris n Neil, a useful plug for a hits CD laugh.gif )and especially to the Bronze medal Joop and Lookylion, Silver slots John and Suedey, and Golds from Rollo, Rob, Klumzee, and Jake. wub.gif 2 consecutive top 10's sounds very unlike Singerpurear! Hmmm shall we go for a hat-trick or sabotage it with something obscure laugh.gif

Congrats burbe! I knew that song had mass appeal, surprised it only had one 18 score. Didn't realise it was your second victory, what was your first?

Land of DW to the rescue for my entry cheer.gif not just the only maximum but the only medal score at all.

Big hand to Kath for hosting what's been a memorable couple of weeks.

(runs and hides in case of being asked to host if Burbe / Leo turn it down - don't feel I'm ready for that just yet!)

I think it'd actually just need burbe to turn it down to then go to you next as it goes to the next poster who has never hosted it before rather than next on the scoreboard.

Congrats St.Burbia! Didn’t click with me at first, but grew later and totally support it winning!

Thank you D'yermak'er and Quintesaa for 18s! And we actually exchanged 18s with Quintessa, definitely on the same page this contest. biggrin.gif

Happy with 22nd, I actually had plenty songs to choose from this time, but I chose ‘Replay’ because it went well as sort of a theme with my previous entries. I think I’ll change the style for the next one though!

Do East Rukahavian have the record for most entries without finishing in the Top 5?

I'm glad some people really liked 'One Touch' (Kath especially *.*) although I did think BAMBII would do a little better than Charlotte Adigéry — but I'll take it! 39th twice now is such a random placement. thank you x

This is the first contest where I actually voted for the winner as well — congrats!
