Wow I most certainly did not envisage a top 10 for this entry! Thanks very much to those who threw it some love, especially Oliver & Harve for the 18s. At least that's the pressure off now in continuing my run of scoring at least one top 10 finish every year.
And congrats to Oliver for a long overdue first win (?) Wasn't a fan of this entry myself but makes up for all the unfortunate misses in the past (who can forget Love Druggie Addict!) But excellent results on the whole, my entire top 6 finishing within the top 14 in the final! A shame BANSHEE just missed the top 10 but I couldn't have helped anymore (and it was behind another big fave of mine anyway). But even more wow at the semi results, Dobanikkä on form this month! That's the closest I've ever come to winning an elusive first semi but couldn't have come second to a better song in this contest. Big hand once again to Kath for the hosting, I'm excited for my next entry already. |

Thanks for the YTD update, Bray! Great to be as high as 9th despite just the one low top 10 hit in the contest this year, consistently qualifying definitely pays off.

(Just more than making up for it by all of their other entries making the top 10 including 4 top 3s). There are only 6 countries who have qualified for every final so far this year. Will need to look up if any previous EOY #1s managed it without 100% qualification actually I guess you must have done it yourself at least once ~Happy to be back in the top 20 myself, not been my most fruitful year ever but hopefully I can continue my EOY top 20 streak and sneak at least one top 10 in in the next 3 contests x Not got an entry planned yet for the next one. |
