The first red card for dissent in 12 years (at least according to various internet sites) happened on Saturday as well, with Lewis Dunk being sent off for Brighton against Forest.

I seem to recall it happening to Maupay a few years ago.

They do have a point, I'd be fuming! Although there's still so long to go. The key is going to be how Arsenal and Liverpool react when they drop points at home (which is going to happen soon).

They should be happy that the Premier League haven't already relegated them to the Vanarama National League after all the Financial Fair Play breaches they've broken!

Has Paul Heckingbottom been sacked yet? I felt like that was his last post match interview yesterday as Sheffield United manager…

Amazingly we've gotten all the way to December without a single sacking but the first is reportedly gonna happen today to Heckingbottom.

Feel sorry for him he’s not a premier league manager and did really well to get them back up last season (probably with the help of the parachute £ and a team who knew the division

Not been sacked officially has Heckingbottom. I imagine that Chris Wilder will return to Sheffield United.

Didn't help when Sheffield United sold their two best players at the start of the season. I think they'll be lucky to reach 20 points. Be interesting to see the affect Wilder has on them, he failed miserably in the Championship!

Yeh but he had a fairytale first stint when he took them from the bottom 8 in L1 to the top 8 in the Premiership! I like him but his tactics only work for so long especially in the top tier!

Manchester City have been charged by the Football Association with failing to control their players in Sunday's 3-3 Premier League draw with Tottenham.

Players surrounded referee Simon Hooper when he awarded a free-kick to City late in stoppage time after it looked like Jack Grealish was through on goal.

Hooper initially indicated City had the advantage and waved play on, but halted the match once the pass was played.

City have until Thursday, 7 December to respond to the charge.

Pep Guardiola has guaranteed that Manchester City will win the Premier League this season! I can't think of anytime when a manager has openly said something like this, we'll see if his words come true. Looks like the pressure is getting to him tbh. It also sounds like he's beginning to live off what they did last season which is a characteristic that Sir Alex Ferguson didn't have after doing the same thing in 1999.

Newcastle United and England goalkeeper Nick Pope requires shoulder surgery and is expected to be out for four months.

The 31-year-old dislocated his shoulder when he dived to make a save during the closing stages of Newcastle's 1-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday.

It's quite a blow for Newcastle United.
