This is so good! Listening to it along side Houdini makes them both sound even better. Bring on the album!

Omg this

The chorus is like a sledgehammer to my brain. I'm just want to strut as soon as those first chords come in.

This is quite impressive. I wasn’t huge in Houdini but this is an improvement for me. Added it to my 2024 playlist.

This is such a slam-dunk — that chorus. The genius of blending essentially an ABBA melody with Tame Impala production. The album is going to be it.

I’m liking this more than I did Houdini on initial listens, although that did grow on me a lot. I think I need to stop myself comparing this era to Future Nostalgia - these are good, solid pop songs, it’s just that Future Nostalgia was such a 10/10 era.

Not really getting the ABBA vibes others are getting.

What an event of a song! I think it’s even more instant than Houdini and DTN. Surely this screams massive global hit??! Really hoping it’s another UK #1 and US top 10 for Dua at the very least!

Don't like this at all, but then didn't like Houdini at start and it's become one of my favourites in ages

I sleepily listened to this last night and wasn’t totally sure but am hooked this morning, can’t take it off repeat laugh.gif *.*

THIS! Last night I felt a bit disappointed because I thought the chorus was going to hit a bit harder as the song went on, but it stayed a bit more understated. But, I've got it LOUD on my laptop today and it really does slap in a unique way.

Her VOCALSSSSS.

I do still prefer Houdini tho x

I like it. Not loving it though. It's hard to describe exactly, but it kinda feels like to me, that it's one stage too early from being finished.

The hook/chorus is an earworm and catchy though and like I said I don't dislike it at all. Would welcome it being a hit, but I'm probably not in this one for the long haul and will probably be bored of it by about week 5 or something. We'll see though. I have it in my rotation so hopefully it'll grow on me to the point it's at for you guys.

She’s so consistent tbh like even if a song is not fully my taste I don’t think I’ve heard bad song from her !

Agree. But I need a ballad from her, she has proven herself so many times with bops.

I like this too but not loving it. I wasn’t impressed with the single version at all but the extended version allowed me to get into it and created a more pleasant listening experience for me.

Houdini clicked for me right away in comparison.

I still don’t think the sound difference is that drastic from Future Nostalgia era. She’s found her stride now with the sort of artist she is and that’s fine but it’s not like she’s went from a Like a Prayer to Erotica or American Life to Confessions on a Dancefloor style sound overhaul.

I think on first listen Houdini was more for me but I will give this another chance. Should easily be another hit for her we’ve seen since her debut now that her singles always end up having huge staying power but I’m still waiting for the huge wow moment from DL3 that both her debut and Future Nostalgia had plenty of.

This hasn't outsold Yes And? remix and Lose Control on iTunes yet, it's a bit worrying regarding the chart debut.

This is awful. Didn't she promise progression?? Well, where is it? This is just a stalw rehash of better songs she's done better. It's just not good. It's just a toral non-event. She needs to move on from this era, fast, or wnd up like Jess Glynne

I wouldn't go off iTunes chart as an indicator in all honesty.

Numbers are out already for whatever hours it was available and it did 216k (main version) on Spotify last night and 330k (combined all versions).

Hopefully 5 million plays for the full day, same as Houdini debut!!!
