The way I would also look at matters is would City ever put a price tag on players like Foden, Rodri, Doku and of course Haaland? Foden in particular, who's the 2023-24 player of the season has won the league six times and he's only 23... would he ever swap life at City for anyone else in his career? It seems very unlikely.

It's not even an aging squad, aside from the likes of Walker and De Bruyne who probably have a couple of seasons left in them at the top before moving on.

We know Mbappe is never coming to the prem, just like Messi never did, so there's very little quality available anywhere in Europe, Brazil or anywhere else in the world to challenge City's elite.
