Let's start fresh with a new thread for season 30. Jess & Cody from Big Brother are the team we already knew about here, plus we have retired NBA players, goat yoga instructors, competitive eaters and more. Check out the cast here http://www.justjared.com/2017/12/07/amazin...-for-season-30/ Looks like this season will air on Wednesdays starting January 3rd. I can't believe they got Joey Chestnut, I'm actually more hyped for him than Jess & Cody tbh! |

Goat yoga?!?
Telling myself that I'll make an effort to watch this for the first time in years, for the legends that are Jess & Cody |

I used to love this programme when it was shown on Sky 1 in the 90s/00s. Great to see it's still going. Is it shown on any UK/Ireland channel these days?

We're two episodes into this season in case anyone has forgot!
I'm intrigued by both of the twists they've announced (one of which was introduced in episode 2), surprised they hadn't thought of either one until now! The head-to-head challenges are tricky since they should be making sure certain teams aren't at a complete disadvantage, in this case Henry & Evan really lucked out when they finally won. |

Jess and Cody *.*
I would have been happy with them or X-Games winning. Evan/Henry bothered me so much. I've always said the last leg needs to be more challenging. This was a step in the right direction, but I almost threw up in my mouth when Henry had the puzzle figured out and didn't get a check. Shame that CBS has pretty much given up on TAR. This was a pretty great season tho. |

Yeah it was another great season! It was impressive to see Jess and Cody make it until the end, they were fun to watch which made up for how BB19 ended up for them. Couldn't have picked a better final 4 - my favorite team was probably IndyCar so I would've liked them to be top 3 but ah well. (Aside: Team Goat Yoga was so disappointing and the twins were so dull ) I thought both twists were well executed, was glad they didn't overpower the regular race format and I wouldn't mind seeing either one used again. Fingers crossed we get a season 31!

Season 31 took a big change. Initially it was going to be all Big Brother contestants, but turns out it's a reality mash-up. Here are the teams:
TAR: Becca & Floyd (TAR29) Tyler & Korey (TAR28) Art & JJ (TAR20) Leo & Jamal (TAR23 and TAR24) Colin & Christie (TAR5) BB: Rachel & Elissa Nicole & Victor Janelle & Britney (HOLY SHIT) Survivor: Chris & Bret Laura & Rupert Corrine & Eliza US Weekly had posted that the cast below was the initial Big Brother cast to be on TAR; something must have drastically changed (for the better).. Dan Gheesling & Jessie Godderz Janelle Pierzina & Britney Haynes Frank Eudy & Ian Terry Caleb Reynolds & Tai Trang (Survivor) Rachel Reilly & Elissa Slater Corey Brooks & James Huling Nicole Franzel & Victor Arroyo Da’Vonne Rogers & Bridgette Dunning This post has been edited by Aaron.: 15th August 2018, 01:45 AM |

Oh wow, I knew it was going to be a great cast but seeing everything in action was great!
Excellent Bottom 2 - one team I didn't know and the other was the only other team I hate! As the only one here that watches all three shows I'm highly impressed with the cast. Rachel and Elissa are a great duo, Elissa looks fantastic. Never cared much for Nicole - but I'm here for Victor. I loooooooveeddd Chris and Bret (especially Bret) on Survivor. Corinne and Eliza is the ultimate Survivor Female Duo *.* - Leo and Jamal are amazing returnees and Janelle and Britney together.... ogmmgmgmgmmgm |

As the only one here that watches all three shows Wrong The Amazing Race veterans have a serious advantage if the first episode was anything to go by, seeing as they swept the top 5! (I'm counting Rachel's team here since she's done it twice.) Of course that didn't help Art and JJ but they're no big loss. I'm sure that won't last anyway, some other teams will catch up quickly. Rupert and Laura are not cut out for Amazing Race at all. Yikes. |

I'm fine with Rupert & Laura leaving. They really shoved Rupert down our throats in Survivor. He did Survivor like, what, 3 or 4 times?
I hate to say it but I don't hate Nicole this go around. The Elephant Road Block was just <3. When the hell was this filmed? They aren't even engaged at this point?! Rachel and Britney are such a great combo... but.. doesn't look like The Amazing Race is really cut out for them. This season is delivering. Below was what the original cast was (All BB Contestants). I'm here for Leo/Jamal tho. They're doing great (all the other TAR teams can go tho). Dan Gheesling & Jessie Godderz Janelle Pierzina & Britney Haynes Frank Eudy & Ian Terry Caleb Reynolds & Tai Trang (Survivor) Rachel Reilly & Elissa Slater Corey Brooks & James Huling Nicole Franzel & Victor Arroyo Da’Vonne Rogers & Bridgette Dunning |

Filmed last June and July according to Wikipedia! That engagement was in August I think.
Janelle and Britney have been underwhelming so far but they're just not getting enough screen time. Corinne and Eliza on the other hand are getting plenty *.* Hope they hang on a few more weeks! (Seeing Jessie on that list makes me glad it wasn't an all-Big Brother season after all ) |

A ELISA/RACHEL/JANELLE/BRITTANY ALLIANCE IS WHAT BIG BROTHER DREAMS ARE MADE OF.
Oddly enough I'm watching BBUS 12 again and I'm on Week Two where Rachel just put up Monet and Brittany I love Chris and Bret (particularly Bret), but they are by far the weakest teams left. Happy they stayed.. but there's not much hope for them is there. |

4 Amazing Teams at the end, they all worked hard to get there.
I see however we still have problems with getting a decent final leg tho. That was quite boring and not as challenging as it should have been. As much as I hate Tyler & Korey (mostly Korey), they actually do very well at this game. |
