Since the big Ultimate Doctor Who rate a couple of years ago, we've had a new Doctor and two new series. I'm hoping for another big rate in the summer that will include these new episodes as well but, for now, let's focus on them in our latest Least Favourite poll. The latest series has brought some difficulty in working out which episodes should be considered seperately so I've organised it in the way that I see it, by splitting up stories where there's a considerable difference between them and keeping the two-parters together where there's clearly one story flowing through them both. A double elimination will kick things off so I will allow you two votes each. Deadline is Sunday evening. |

I've gone for In the Forest of the Night and The Woman Who Lived.
They were both my clear least favourites from each series as, while the ideas may have been there, I don't think that they really worked that well. In the Forest... didn't really capture what a Doctor Who story was and The Woman Who Lived got a bit stuck in trying to incorporate the Doctor Who element which got lost in the more impressive character moments of the episode (ie the first half). |

Think I'll be choosing one episode per series while we're voting 2 per round.
Went for Deep Breath and Sleep No More. In DB the Doctor just seemed way too stupid but the rest of the episode was ok. Strax and the gang appearing again as well as the clockwork robots were the highlights though Sleep No More didn't really excite me either. The camera work, although used to effect for the plot, was probably the main reason, but the sandmen creatures weren't very good a villian and didn't really like the plot (sleep dust, seriously? ). I'd call this my least favourite of both the series. |

Didn't realise I had 2 votes and only voted for The Caretaker. Could my second vote be added for Robot Of Sherwood, please?

In The Forest of the Night & Sleep No More. Both episodes I will gladly forget, the former in particular was one of the absolute worst episodes of Nu-Who.
