I think that was the most cringeworthy exit there’s ever been. Whitney spends most of the episode being disgusting to everyone and then getting a round of applause off everyone on her way out. She’s such an idiot and everyone just enables her, meanwhile she’s chucked out a fiancé, step mum and best friend who, despite their mistakes, clearly love her and would bend over backwards to make her happy. On top of an episode full of her refusing to forgive anyone, they force in a scene where Linda forgives her. Who wrote this trash?
I mean, thank goodness she’s gone. Let’s hope she never comes back. |

Absolute TRASH!! Linda forgiving her, when she did much worse to her than Lauren and fiance!! And she caused it all!! She was horrible to him and neglecting the fact they were about to have a baby. Pushed uim out to the point both thought they were gonna split, but he cpmes back and worships the ground she walks on and does it all her way... And again, she has tried to cheat too!!! |

Thank good she’s finally gone Shona McGarty is capable but the character of Whitney hasn’t been good for absolutely years at this point. They just turned her into misery after misery, and when a character gets that much focus and push you are inevitably going to tire of them. Especially knowing she would be leaving for ages, and it felt like Milton Keynes week could have been her exit, I thought she might stay and look after Brittany, but instead they dragged it all out for over 2 months.
Zack should be much better without her too, it feels like when there was any male character they didn’t know what to do with, they’d pair them with Whitney and use them to give her more miserable storylines. Kush, Callum, and now Zack. |

Im glad Whitney is gone, not a character i have enjoyed for years, Shona herself is more than capable but whitney was a character i just could never empathize with purely because it was misery after misery with her.

Yea Whitney's character became very tiresome, it's a shame because I love Shona but they really wasted her talent a lot of the time, so must lost potential with Whitney. If they actually gave her some happy storylines and set her up with a family of her own on the square long before now then maybe she could have developed into another staple. It was very much Whitney could do no wrong no matter what other characters were involved in her storylines. I think they had a chance to kinda redeem things with her friendship with Chelsea but that was all but forgotten about as soon as Zack appeared. It definitely was time for her to go.
I do think she did the right thing leaving Zack but that's just because I don't ever thing there's an excuse for cheating, they should have just broke up when Whitney chose Britney over him. I don't think it's fair she's just left with his baby, she didn't even want to be pregnant again in the first place. Tbh them having Dolly was only to fuel the Britney storyline imo, they could have even ended it when Zack didn't want to foster but Whitney did, she could have done that and moved away with her foster kid still. That exit was very cringey, dressing Britney up as a mini Whitney with the side cap and hoops?! As if a bus would wait that long as well |

I really really didn't enjoy Whitney's exit storyline, right from the Milton Keynes episodes. Everything involving Britney was a big suspension of disbelief and I didn't like that it was portrayed from the perspective of rooting for Whitney when she's the one taking the social care system into her own hands for a kid she's never met before, behind her partner's back, risking the life of her then-unborn kid in the process... it was terribly written and even for Whitney at this stage, it just wrecked the character. Everything since has only drawn it out further. It's a shame because Shona's always been brilliant and such a great ambassador for the show, and the character of Whitney did need a rest, but this exit just wasn't it.
I've quite enjoyed Bianca's presence away from this storyline though so I'm glad we have her for a little longer post-Whitney |

It was all just awful, from risking her kid, to becoming a world renowned expert on the condition )whoch wss then forgotten about immediately), to Britmey turning around to stare at the camera awkwardly and unnaturally to annuncd them leaving, to the whole bus debacle... She has no money, no car, uses a local bus service to, presumably, get another local bus, all the way to Yorkshire, and now has two children and no support... Just terrible all around.

Most of it can be explained away, it's just Johnny floating about in mid air I guess unless he's sharing with Gina and Anna?
Elaine and George - 1 room Gina and Anna (and Johnny?) - 1 room Linda, Ollie and Annie - 1 room (Confirmed on screen) Junior, Monique, Xavier - 1 room The Slaters would be another one, particularly when Kat, her kids, Suki and Eve were also living there amongst Stacey, Jean, Harvey, Lily, Hope, Arthur and Charli. |

The ridiculous one with the Slaters last year was the fact that numerous working adults lived there yet Stacey never had money for any bills.

They always have this ridiculous scenario when people just randomly move into a house and all of a sudden have beds to spare no matter who arrives, yes it was nonsense last year with Stacey having no money yet all the adults were working so money should have been no issue at all,
Another ridiculous scenario in soaps is when someone is moving away they always only ever have a suitcase, very rare do people in soaps have their own furniture etc when they are leaving but often when they arrive they have a van load of stuff with e,g the Taylors. |

Despite medical confirmation I still can't shake the feeling that Nish is lying about needing a heart transplant but regardless I'm intrigued to see where they go with this. We're already being set up with the whole "a donor seems unlikely" so will they stick to their guns here and get rid of him as a character? After tonight's episode, I can't see him leaving without causing some form of destruction for the rest of his family.

I wish they’d just get rid of him quickly. He’s a failed character we don’t really need.
That said, I’m surprised he’s had nothing substantial to say about Keanu’s death. |

For me Nish doesnt fully work as a character as i dont find him a belieevable bad guy its more panto, a good bad guy neds to make the viewer feel scared where with Nish i find him more funny (in a bad way) than scary,.
