Talks of Rob being part of a new band called Lufthaus, ( Thanks to https://www.robbiewilliamslive.com/news/rwl...robbie-williams for the heads up on this ) . There seems to be some connection with Armada music platform which featured Bob Sinclair & Ron on the Electrico Romantico track in 2019 Not 100% sure what the story is here , time will tell .. A company called Lufthaus was registered in London in JUNE 21'. Directors Ronnie Williams/Tim Clarke/Michael Loney , it is described sound recording and music publishing https://www.secret-bases.co.uk/company/13470583 In November 2019 – Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global publishing company, today announced the signing of a global administration deal with Robbie Williams’ publishing company, Farrell Music. The agreement includes Robbie Williams’ existing catalogue and future works. https://www.universalmusic.com/universal-mu...istration-deal/ This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: 6th May 2024, 09:41 PM |

Here is another article about Lutfthaus
Robbie Williams makes comeback with obscure band and nobody noticed It seems very likely that Robbie Williams (48) has made his comeback in a new band after more than a year of silence. The singer can unmistakably be heard on the group's debut single Lufthaus, but the band and the artist themselves have not said a word about it and his name is nowhere to be seen. New music by Robbie Williams, one of the most successful artists of recent decades, is usually big news in Europe. In 2016, his record company bought expensive TV airtime in England to announce a new album during an X Factor commercial break . With 2.4 million followers on Instagram and Twitter, a single message would quickly attract attention, but it has been quiet there for a month and a half. Corona had hardly any impact on Robbie Williams' social life: 'Have been isolated since 1993' Virtually no fan noticed that Williams launched a new song a week ago with Armada, the record company that was co-founded by Armin van Buuren. The song is called Sway , the band Lufthaus. A press release went out and the group promoted the song on a newly created Instagram profile, but that went under the radar given the 239 followers. It wasn't until last night that the song went viral on social media fans. The puzzle pieces are there. Williams appears to have already given a taste of the song in a live broadcast on Instagram during the pandemic. He was already planning to start a band under a different name with producers Tim Metcalfe and Flynn Francis, with whom he has been collaborating for some time. While none of them are mentioned in the press release, it does speak of "three friends" and "decades" of experience. House-like underground music is uncharted territory for Williams, who said he hopes fans will enjoy the music in clubs. It's not just a single: the band promises an entire album, live performances and 'digital experiences' for the coming months. The identity of the band members has been kept secret on purpose, the group says. It's not the first time Williams has flirted with band life and a pseudonym. For example, he liked not being alone on stage when he briefly returned to boy band Take That in 2010 and he toyed with the idea of releasing his album Intensive Care under a different name around 2004. Lufthaus seems to be a side project for Robbie, who will probably also release an album under his own name this year. He is thus celebrating his 25th anniversary as a solo artist. https://www.ad.nl/show/robbie-williams-maak...w.google.com%2F |

LUFTHAUS HIT ARMADA MUSIC WITH CROSS-GENRE DEBUT SINGLE: ‘SWAY’
by FINDYOURSOUNDS February 11, 2022 It takes a special act to set the underground scene ablaze upon first try, and Lufthaus fit that bill to the letter. Favoring electronic moods and atmospheres over traditional pop song structures, the singer-writer-producer tag team deliver an incredible first single to Armada Music in the form of ‘Sway’, which will be getting top remixes from hot-and-happening names such as Fideles and Dense & Pika shortly after today’s release. Expressive, compelling and sonically sophisticated, Lufthaus’ highly anticipated debut release on Armada Music takes hold of listeners from the very first tone. From the atmospheric harmonies to the contagious beat and conspicuous vocal presence, ‘Sway’ makes for a cross-genre masterpiece able to captivate dance floors regardless of stylistic preference. “This project has been months in the making, keeping us busy in the studio throughout the pandemic, so we’re delighted to now be releasing the first single with Armada”, Lufthaus say. “We’ve purposely kept Lufthaus unrevealed, so we’re looking forward to releasing more music and revealing more material over the coming months.” Lufthaus are three longtime friends who’ve been jointly captivating the global music scene for multiple decades. With songs that draw inspiration from the timeless, impressionistic and yet relentlessly modern feel of the city of Berlin, the trio seek to occupy the hearts and minds of all those who seek them out, with a haunting and hopeful sound all their own. 2022 will see Lufthaus indulge in their first live performances, launch their debut album and release a series of digital first experiences that‘s inevitably starting on a high note with ‘Sway’. https://findyoursounds.com/lufthaus-hit-arm...ut-single-sway/ |

News articles make me smile when they say ' making a comeback' , what does that mean these days
He's doing something I think he has wanted to do for a long time , might not be my cup of tea but I admire him for doing his own thing , will be interesting to see how it develops over the summer months |

I also like it, especially as it is not 'either-or' but both he will do, classic Robbie and something different

Also as that is the style of music that he so loves -it must be really refreshing for him to just reinvent himself and give it a go.
He's got a very distinct voice so must have known it would be discovered quickly |
