Great chart Hotchoc
Amazing to see Britney doing well with I Wanna Go, one of her most underrated gems in my opinion. I loved this ever since release. Just A Dream is Nelly's only great song and so beautiful Lillywood, Avril and Avicii Ft Robbie are all great also |

Heroes stans another week at the top, fighting off two very competitive ex-number ones from MKTO at #2 and #3. Break Free 're-breaks' into the top 5 after falling from her one-week peak of 4 to 6 last week. The Chainsmokers' remix of Ellie Goulding's Goodness Gracious climbs up a further place to peak into the top 10, while Bump & Grind 2014 climbs to a new peak of 12. Last All Night (Koala), the next hit from Oliver Heldens climbs up a massive 10 places to 13, and we also see new entries from Taylor, Nico & Vinz, Wretch 32 and an 'only just' top 25 hit from LuvBug.
Non-movers: 8 Climbers: 6 Fallers: 4 Re-entries: 0 Highest new entry: Taylor Swift - Blank Space (19) Biggest climber: Oliver Heldens ft. KStewart - Last All Night (Koala) (up 10 from 23 to 13) Biggest faller: Britney Spears - I Wanna Go (down 12 from 12 to 24) Biggest dropout: Avril Lavigne - Rock And Roll (17) Dropouts

Now only 6 are still hanging on from the first week 17 half-weeks ago, since 15/09/14.
I will aim to update the records on the 20th half-week, and from there possibly update them every 10 half weeks (effectively 5 normal weeks ) Potential for Wake Me Up to enter by Tuesday, possibly with the CIN version. WMU has been in the top 5 2013 chart as another note. This post has been edited by SPINNING ADAM: 15th November 2014, 08:32 PM |

Heroes hangs on to the top spot, but could Classic reclaim their long run at the top? Could Thank You unexpectedly climb to #1 from 3? Ariana is once again climbing up to its peak of 4 for the second week; does she stand a chance? Or does Watermat have enough power to get there now they have entered the top 5? Other scenarios this week include Prayer In C's big fall from 4 to 7, the biggest fall to date and first instance outside the top 5 since chart compilation 19 weeks ago. Avicii's Hope There's Someone climbs up further into the top 10 at 8, one place behind its peak. Blank Space also enters the top 10 at 9 and Goodness Gracious (The Chainsmokers Remix) re-enters the top 10 at a second non-consecutive week at #10. Outside continues to climb, but will this be the last week it peaks outside the top 10? Shake It Off makes an unexpected re-entry after 17 weeks out of the top 20. It originally debuted and peaked at 17 on the first ever chart and did not enter since. It now has a re-entering peak of 13. Won't Look Back and Just A Dream, two of the longest top 10 runners fall big time this week from 8 and 9 to 14 and 15, respectively. Madeon enters at #24 and Slow Acid continues to make a slow decent now at #25.
Non-movers: 3 Climbers: 11 Fallers: 9 Re-entries: 1 Highest new entry: Madeon - Imperium (24) Biggest climber: Various (up 5) Biggest faller: Various (down 6) Biggest dropout: Armin van Buuren ft. Fiora - Waiting For The Night (18) Dropouts

The top 6 stays static this week. Alesso and Tove Lo equal Classic's record of most consecutive weeks at #1, being 6. If they are #1 this Saturday they will effectively beat their record. Classic also holds the record for most overall weeks at #1, being 8. Outside is this week's biggest climber, climbing up 5 more places from 12 to 7. Duke re-enters the top 10 after a brief slip from 8 to 14 last week. We also introduce newcomers Parra for Cuva and Take That at 23 and 25, respectively.
Non-movers: 9 Climbers: 7 Fallers: 7 Re-entries: 0 Highest new entry: Parra for Cuva ft. Anna Naklab - Wicked Games (23) Biggest climber: Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding - Outside (up 5 from 12 to 7) Biggest faller: Armin van Buuren ft. Lauren Evans - Alone (down 6 from 11 to 17) Biggest dropout: (24) Madeon - Imperium Dropouts

BIG change in this week's top 5. This unfortunately also means, negative drumroll please, ALESSO IS OFF #1 Alesso previously matched MKTO's Classic record of 6 weeks consecutive at #1 last week. Oliver replaces Alesso with the future hit Last All Night (Koala) who was #6 last week. Outside is no longer outside the top 5, as the duo climbs up to #4 this week. Alesso takes a big fall to #5, the biggest ever fall off #1 since chart compilation, and the only to fall down further than #2. Blank Space and Won't Look Back climb 2 places, while Avicii's album only track re-enters the top 10 again. Taylor's other hit and late bloomer sits just outside the top 10 with Shake It Off. Watermat takes a big fall from 5 to 12 and we see big climbs from Robin Schulz and Take That. 2 new entries mean that Blonde and Clean Bandit are debuts at #23 and #24 respectively.
Non-movers: 4 Climbers: 11 Fallers: 8 Re-entries: 0 Highest new entry: Blonde ft. Melissa Steel - I Loved You (24) Biggest climber: Oliver Heldens ft. KStewart - Last All Night (Koala) and Take That - These Days (both up 5) Biggest faller: Watermat - Bullit and Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious (The Chainsmokers Remix) (both down 7) Biggest dropout: Parra for Cuva ft. Anna Naklab - Wicked Games (23) Dropouts

Some big falls this week. I hope Heroes and Bullit redeem themselves on Tuesday
Can't really see much oppurtunity for any new entries next week either |

You do realise a week is 7 days right?
Some great songs here though, yay for the Avicii appreciation anyway Hope There's Someone is a great album track, it went top 5 for me when it was released. Last All Night is another good vocal mix of Oliver Heldens, hope it charts well officially |

Last All Night is another good vocal mix of Oliver Heldens, hope it charts well officially I do it bi-weekly but I say 'a week'/next week etc. when I actually mean next Tues/Sat. I could say next bi-week but that just sounds stupid Oliver doesn't seem to be getting too many pre's but hopefully it'll reach top 5. I can see it disappearing like WLB though |

Another week passes a big change to the top 5, and the top 10 also. Oliver Heldens has shown us he can last little more than a night as ex-chart king falls to #3 this week. Outside climbs up 3 more places to number one. Heroes also rebounds to 2 after falling from 1 to 5 last week. Classic falls off the top 3 for the first time since chart compilation, and Blank Space climbs up a further 1 place to #6. Bullit re-enter the top 10 at #9 and Shake It Off peak at #10 for the first time. Prayer In C drop out of the top 10 for the first timeand we see Ariana's Love Me Harder re-enter after a brief dropout last week at #23. We do not see any other new entries this week.
Non-movers: 2 Climbers: 11 Fallers: 10 Re-entries: 1 Highest new entry: - Biggest climber: Armin van Buuren ft. Lauren Evans - Alone (up 4 from 16 to 12) Biggest faller: Nelly - Just A Dream (down 4 from 13 to 17) Biggest dropout: Becky G - Shower (18) (only dropout) Dropouts

I've just changed the run layouts for this week. I've used the superscript feature to tidy up the runs to make them shorter. This number indicates the number of bi-weeks the song has stayed at the position. For example:
5-3-3-3-7 Has been changed to: 5-33-7 The 3 indicates that it has spent 3 bi-weeks at #3 in a row. This sub-script feature will be used in future when a song spends 3 or more consecutive weeks at the same position. |

Calvin keeps up at #1 this week. Oliver and Alesso swap places now at #2 and #3, respectively, while Alone returns to its peak of #11. Real Love stays at #24 and The Days is scraping the top 25 by the hair while Blonde is kicked out by a thin margin.
Non-movers: 7 Climbers: 9 Fallers: 8 Re-entries: 0 Highest new entry: Tinashe ft. SchoolBoy Q - 2 On (#22) (only new) Biggest climber: Take That - These Days and Ariana Grande ft. This week marks the first festive Current Chart to include Christmas songs. A separate chart will also be compiled. Already, there were three new entries to be queued up for this week, but the Christmas addition has caused a few songs to drop out and would-be new entries to miss the top 25. The highest new entry at #18 is Tegan & Sara's Closer. Mariah is the highest new entry to be related to Christmas and is sitting at #21. Owl City's Christmas song enters at #23 while Shakin' Stevens' classic enters at the bottom. Elsewhere in the chart, Calvin stays at #1, while Oliver's pre-hit Last All Night falls from #2 to #4. Heroes climbs back to #2 and Blank Space returns to its peak of #6. Shake It Off climbs to a new peak of #9 as well as Armin's Alone at #10. Tinashe's 2 On climbs to #16 and Ariana's near-top 40 hit climbs to #19. Christmas Charts - Please see my new thread for the Christmas chart, including records and stats.
Non-movers: 8 Climbers: 9 Fallers: 5 Re-entries: 0 Highest new entry: Biggest climber: Tinashe ft. SchoolBoy Q - 2 On (up 6 from 22 to 16) Biggest faller: Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious (The Chainsmokers Remix) (down 7 from 17 20 24) Biggest dropout: Nelly - Just A Dream (19) Dropouts: 5 Dropouts
