Interesting that Silento's song is high on streaming but not performing overly well on sales, while Sigma/ Ella's streaming is virtually non existent but they have a strong hold at the top 5 on iTunes.

Wonder what causes this?

There tends to be a significant genre-related element to the sales/streaming split in general.

Yeah, definitely. "Urban" artists tend to do really well on streaming, much better than other genres.

*.* woah was expecting this to be a totally dead week tbh~

simon cowell/1d giving sony's exemplary oa/os strategy a real fillip ~ i take it their fans are getting behind this as it's the first release post zayne, alas 'drag me down' will be down there with 'lay me down' as one of the worst #1's of 2015 puke.gif nocheer.gif

had hoped for a much stronger showing for joe stone sad.gif ~ but with sales at such a slow ebb streaming is everything this week

woah @ silentó's floppagé after looking good for a held-back #1 ~ the sudden early release, whilst welcomed, has really scuppered his chances ohmy.gif

yasssssss @ joe weller ~ what a amazing tune from a random youtube bantzter music.gif

Calvin Harris will almost certainly be #2 by the way, not far behind Little Mix and is selling considerably more!

Added notable songs and albums for #41-100 in the update on the previous page, as well as singles top 5 sales! Fire away with any requests biggrin.gif

Does that mean Albert Hammond Jr's out of the Top 100, or is he just not notable?

My OCD chart runs needs would like it to be at 9/10 this week then a move into the top 3 next week lol

Such a battle for the album no1, hope the Maccabees get a no1 after a lot of no2s.

As Joseph says above: Calvin is guaranteed the #2 slot with “How Deep Is Your Love” becoming his fifth runners-up hit single (though it could of course go to #1 in a few weeks).

The Maccabees or Lianne La Havas - really can't call it. With no weekend effect just before the chart announcement now, Years & Years are unlikely to cause a last minute upset.

Before now they've released 3 albums that have gone to #24, #13 and #4.
