Looking forward to 3 big certs next year. I'm confident we will get things from the girls even if only a documentary and other bits which should hopefully speed up some of these certs too.

Spiceworld 25 update from 23rd December 2022!
23rd December 2022 Total: 1,630,367 Weekly Sales Figure: 1,532 (at #105) [the #100 sold 1,573] CD: 1,196 Vinyl: 167 Cassettes: 6 Downloads: 6 Streaming: 157 ^ Its sales were up 510.6% in comparison to the previous chart week, which means that Spiceworld sold 251 copies in the week of the chart dated 16th December 2022. A reminder of... 11th November 2022 Total: 1,627,657 Weekly Sales Figure: 2,257 (at #46) [the #40 sold 2,474] CD: 0 Vinyl: 1,603 Cassettes: 279 Downloads: 151 Streaming: 224 + a comparison with 'Spice 25' from... 5th November 2021 Weekly Sales Figure: 7,798 (at #5) CD: 1,464 Vinyl: 4,563 Cassettes: 1,219 Downloads: 188 Streaming: 364 So in the end the Spiceworld CD did sell less than the Spice CD, even with it having a much longer pre-order time. Meh!  Even if Spiceworld CD had come out alongside the other formats, and if we just assume it would have sold 1,196 CDs in that week (which it most likely wouldn't have, but anyway)... it still would have missed the Top 20. 2,257 + 1,196 = 3,453, that would have been enough for a maximum position of #22 (#22 sold 3,441). |
