^ Looking down that list, I recognised 28 of those songs ohmy.gif Would have been to name at least 20 I think laugh.gif

Fair enough but then you're probably more of a Chris Brown fan than the average Buzzjack user I'd say! (or maybe it's just me who couldn't name 10...)

A lot of girls and women I know LOVE Chris Brown laugh.gif Evidently his past doesn't put people off - maybe girls are attracted to the danger or something.

I'm not at all a fan of Chris Brown. Loyal was horrible. The only good(ish) song of is I can remember was Don't Wake Me Up.

Some of Chris Brown's songs are tolerable but recently he just hasn't even been slightly tolerable. Loyal is TERRIBLE imo, New Flame wasn't much better.

Oh and Don't Wake Me Up wasn't good at all for me, the autotune use is horrific sad.gif

I really liked 'Don't Wake Me Up' too, somehow the auto-tuning is what makes the song for me. The only other one I really like was 'International Love' with Pitbull... but don't judge me for that kink.gif

Both those tracks are great cheer.gif
Also, Don't Judge Me wasn't too bad despite missing the top 40 mellow.gif
Oops at this turning into a Chris Brown thread laugh.gif

How so? What he said is clearly true. He's not endorsing it or anything.

Whether people on here like it or not, there ARE a hell of a lot of people who don't care about Chris Brown's personal life and just like his music, and there ARE people who are misguided enough to somehow like him more because of his personal life.

Kodaline at #1 and Peace at #3 on the albums chart. Who cares if it's on low sales, what a feat. Hoping both can somehow manage to hold T10 placings come Sunday, I am expecting my pre-ordered copies of both later in the week.

Great to see "Gravity" at #2 as well and a bit of a T10 clearout (though Charli XCX and Ne-Yo are likely to drop straight out next week, and Chris Brown possibly too).

What do people have against Chris Brown's music!? Yes, he's a terrible human being but his music is great laugh.gif

Don't forget apart from beating up Rihanna, he brawled with Frank Ocean and has used anti gay language on numerous occasions.

Chris Brown has never released anything good enough to like even before he beat Rihanna up. And he certainly hasn't since. One of the great mysteries of life is how he remains so successful.

So glad Kodaline are #1 but I'm not going to get my hopes up until I see their lead. Great album too, though I expect no less from them! It would make up for their first album getting beaten by Kanye West of all people. sad.gif

Failing to see how this is a valid response to ML Hammer's post.

It's the way he's made yet another offensive generalisation and sweeping statement. Yes, I'm sure there are a select few that find it attractive and that it adds to the whole "bad boy" persona but the way he's worded it made it sound like females are weak and powerless enough to succumb to it. He just needs to actually THINK before he posts most of the time.

To be fair, there are lots of criminals in the music business and how one reacts their actions is one's own business.

Yeah that's entirely you putting words into his mouth there. All he said was that in his experience a lot of females that he knows love Chris Brown and put forward a reason for that which does apply to some people. Clearly wasn't meant to be a generalisation of all women.

Chris Brown: musically abhorrent save for the Cahill Club Mix of "Forever" (after several drinks), as a person utterly repugnant and not someone I would go out into town with. I expect he wouldn't get a round in, and would spend much of the night going on about how he got to #1 in April 2012 with a record nobody can remember, "Turn Up The Music".

I wasn't commenting on all women. The post in question should have been clearer, but I think your dislike of me as a poster has also influenced this reaction.

His music is clearly popular regardless of his personal life. Plenty of Mustard/Nic Nac songs have missed the top 40 over the last eighteen months, while 'Ayo' is headed for the top 10 with limited airrplay .
